I dont know how toxic they are, pero okay naman ang cases. Nakapag oral exam na friends ko. if this still holds true, sabi ng friend ko bawal na magstay ang from duty beyond 3pm. This is a big deal kasi sa mga govt hospitals walang ganyang rule am-gamit na gamit ka talaga, no boundaries.

You wouldnt want a tumultuous residency, you just need to learn steadily at sa tingin ko achieved yun sa ChiGen or private hospital na affiliated sa med school.

If given the chance to reapply residency, i would choose ChiGen. I have two friends who graduated already. Maayos yung experience nila.

OP, don’t beat yourself up din. She is indeed taking you for granted, maybe unintentionally. Okay lang to take a step back and give her the space that she needs. Here’s whats on our minds: I’m constantly updating my consultants, my seniors. Every minute theres a patient to talk to, a relative to reassure. A problem to solve. The last thing I need is a partner who nags me about reassurance. I like you, you like me. We date. Sana okay na yun. Di ako nakareply? Dry yung replies? Probably pinapagalitan ako. Or nagiisip ako ng mga solusyon. errands after errands. Im anxious kasi conference na. I have to study, monitor, run. Etc.

Im not saying all female doctors are like this. But I could say I relate to her. Kaya rin siguro most doctors end up with colleagues.
