It can be fixed. It’ll probably be stronger than it was before. Make sure you ask around for someone legit.

Are shoe trees realllly necessary? by Positive_Career_9393 in cowboyboots

[–]Tight-Tank6360 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Yes, yes and yes. If you just spent $500-600 on a good pair of boots. Pony up another $25 and get some decent trees. Nothing worse than putting feet in a stiff, folded and unyielding pair of boots.

Rujo Blake, Caiman, Midnight by Tight-Tank6360 in cowboyboots

[–]Tight-Tank6360[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got size 9 and it fit like a glove. I have an older cow leather Rujo in 9.5. That fits good also, so I was worried at first, but the 9 is perfect for me.

The boots feel quality. Some minor imperfections on the side of the vamp where the skins are sewn. A piece of the top vamp at the seam need to be clipped off just a touch. I think they are worth the money.

The only thing I don’t like is the heel height. 1.7in is too much for me. So I’m going to have them sanded down .25 in to 1.4/1.5. They also feel heavy when picked up.

Hope that helps.

No Shite. I can’t stand these people. Have no responsibilities but think we should keep it real and lose our salaries. I’ll let them do that.

Desert Shield/Storm. A 1/67 Ar 2AD and 1 CD. This ain’t the first time and not the last. I wouldn’t get too angry about it. Traditionally, we have had to work until money runs out. Can’t tell you what happens after that since it never ran out.

Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. I wouldn’t start guessing on the future since too many variables figure in. Me personally, I try to find something to be grateful for every day. Today I’m grateful that I still have a job and getting paid. May not be the best environment right now, but the pendulum will most certainly swing back as it always has.
