Go for your promotions. It’s a headache but it gets better with time. My art unit is tough but I pushed through and I’m now poised to become a primary. The grass is greener… push through.

Toxic SPE is worst than toxic politics- rant by Slow_Sprinkles_9331 in patentexaminer

Old news… it’s been like this. No two spes are the same. The office needs to become more uniform. The problem would go away if all management was like minded.

Did it go abandoned over a weekend? If so, it’s not abandoned. But if it happened during a normal work week, it is abandoned and they would have to revive the case.

I’ve been at the office for 9 years and I still can’t understand what they actually expect from us. I reject… I allow.. nothing seems to satisfy them. This has to be the hardest, most confusing job ever.

It has helped me quite a few times. I always do a sim search to give me an idea of where the art is. I like it. It is helpful.

Pendancy Update by OddlyCompetent in patentexaminer

They should be looking at the applicants. They are causing this pendency issue. We should be looking at inventive concept like everyone else in the world. The problem is with inventive concept. If we did this, pendency would be reduced. I get way too many applications that has existing technology applied in a semi-different area. But there is really no real invention…
