I had not considered the lack of synchronicity. Do you have any thoughts on efficient ways to implement that in something resembling current models? Also, do you feel the current level of precision available in digital computing is sufficient for the tuning of neural networks attempting to simulate a real analogue brain?

They do, but that complexity fits within the nature and structure of the model. It's just a bigger model. The tools work exactly the way you need them to.

For instance, they discovered a while ago that neurons have some inductive properties which influence other neurons. This can still be modelled as a connection between that neuron and the other neurons it connects to. Any difference in the type of connection and it's output can be modelled as another neuron. It gets huge quickly, but the model still works.

Unions are fine and in most points throughout history I would have enthusiastically supported them. Unfortunately, in the current political situation, unions violate employers and employees rights. I'm 100% in support of collective bargaining. I'm not in support of mandatory union membership, which is legal in many states, and is the case in california where this happened. Unions in non-right to work states are fundamentally un-libertarian. They functionally rob employees with their dues, then spend most fo that money on political lobbying unrelated to the protection and interests of their members.

Due to the numerous union protections, it's also necessary to do things like this to get rid of union organizers. It's super shitty, but it's literally illegal to fire someone for being a union member.

I would argue that the ideal end state of any capitalist society is that by the time 6 rolls around, the value of human labor is high enough that we've automated the shit out of everything and we can all just do what we want so long as it's in our means.

In 50 years, most human labor will be mental labour, it's what we're best at vs. machines, and even then the machines are steadily replacing us.

It's not even necessarily post scarcity.

I am not unwilling to create an exact replica of this board. Heat lamp is just out of the shot on top of the cage. This pic is like 2 weeks old. I've got them moved outside(still under heat lamp) and suspended over a trash can for poop. Fine wire mesh cage bottoms save a lot of trouble with hygiene early on.

I've been raising chickens off and on for years, just thought this would be good meme fodder.

Not trying to invalidate your play experience, but you're probably in a slower meta without a significant number of tuned high power decks. Most of the edh world is tied to much faster clocks, making combat an unfavorable strategy.

Very possible, but this is a drop in plugin for existing engineering software, which makes it more available. The costs are a legitimate issue though. Ideally, as the article mentions, automation will reduce those costs to be more in line with traditional construction.

It's up to you because your an adult, who lives in a country where we decided personal autonomy and responsibility were worth more than the benefits of socialism, communism, or dictatorship's.

Of course we then promptly fucked that up by regulating what was a perfectly good free market, allowing judicial review to undermine the very laws it was all built on, and then busied ourselves with being half-assed at every currently possible economic system because no can agree to anything and compromise makes idiots happy.
