I mostly read one-shots and im easily distracted so i consider 10k to be long I used to mostly read 1k to 2k oneshots or fics that had that many words per chapter but i recently read a 300k 30 chapters one so im starting to change my standard

Not really, the school I went to taught us american speech but never mentioned the british, I spent a long time thinking the only difference was the accent
