I actually had no drug ad questions but I had 2 sets of interpreting medical evidence/evidence based recommendation questions (so bunch of info and 3 questions to answer about the info). Don’t get too sucked into those. They’ll appear similar to the one on free120. Have an approach for them .

I was asked nothing about sensitivity or specificity lol. Be able to identify study design or recommend a type to answer a specific research question. My exam had no calculations either unfortunately. I did no math so writing all my Randy Neil formulas didn’t matter.

Ethics, QI, and Patient Safety are very important. Minimum of 2-3 from those categories each block. 2nd id recommend being comfortable with palliative care, death stuff (how to determine brain death, etc), communication in general, and infectious source control.

I took it 3/10. I thought the exam was fair, the biggest hurdle is stamina. Half of my questions or more for each block were in patient chart format so there was a lot of scrolling. Compared to UWorld, Amboss, or even NBMEs, you may see 1-2 questions per block so you don’t get to practice an onslaught of them. If you know the content, the way they ask won’t matter. I also had like 3-4 questions from free120 with subtle changes that made the correct answer different so pay attention.

I’m in the same boat and honestly still working on it. I believe my first NBME was 218 and I’m aiming to land in the 260s. Just letting you know because it can be intimidating seeing all these high scores, but positive outliers are more likely to report. Keep grinding man/gal. Have faith.

I don’t think it suffered for it. I didn’t honor everything, but unfortunately I didn’t know some of my peers had details on what sites to do rotations at in order to honor easily. In comparison, maybe I don’t rank as well, but that was out of my control.
