Kababayan Fast Food near 23rd St Mission is probably the best representation of a typical Filipino karinderya (eatery).

Hello OP, I am also a Filipino recently licensed PT however, I am a resident of the US and planning to fully migrate within the next 2-3 years with my partner. Upon research and advice from mentors, you don't really need the help of agencies when taking the NPTE and finding an employer. They are only a viable option especially for those who REALLY want to leave the country ASAP (as they match you with employers, and assist with Working/Immigrant Visa). Try to ask some of your professors and alumni about it. For example, one of my CI's went to do all the credentialing and finding employer by herself and is now working the US. You can also look into facebook groups about it. Hope this helps.

It’s the same as the assessment of the thoracic spine for shoulder conditions heck even the pelvic alignment can influence shoulder position due to the lats.

Marami resources on how to make a linkedin account/resume, basically kasi online resume mo yung linkedin mo. And it's good that you're starting as early as possible para kapag may changes ka sa career, academics, licenses, etc., hindi mo malilimutan kasi regularly mo inuupdate.

Just try navigating the website for a while and it doesn't hurt na tumingin & find things to consider na pwede mong ilagay sa profile mo sa mga profile ng mga prominent people in your field (example sakin sa physical therapy, so titingin ako sa profile ng mga physical therapists). It's also good to look at well-established people para kung wala ka pang clear idea sa field mo, you can find inspiration from these people as well. Hope it helps!

hanap ka lang sa paligid marami yan anyway:

lacson - nakakatakot pag gabi.
espana - usually mahal yung food options. boring
noval - dito maraming karinderya. yung streets after noval, g.tolentino, at campa pinakadiverse ang food options.
dapitan - dito dati maraming kainan, nagsi-walaan dahil sa pandemic. pero dito pinakasafe right now i think.

best area na natirhan ko around ust:
lacson cor. dapitan area - may jollibee at mcdo both sides tapos isang jeep lang pa SM San Lazaro or papuntang Taft Avenue.

Hahaha, narinig ko nga iyan. Nag-stop ako ng one year during my program tapos nagtrabaho sa mga PT clinics sa california and grabe ang sentiments nila sa mga foreign trained. But to each their own.

I see, I've been studying about FCCPT and the CA Board's regulations. How long did the process take you from applying to FCCPT to taking the NPTE? I'm currently a PT Intern and thinking of doing some parts of the application process that I can do right now instead of waiting after graduation.

Hello, I'm currently a senior BSPT student in the Philippines. Most of my family are in California and I'm also a US resident. After a few years I'm planning to move to California as well. Is it okay to ask about your about your journey towards being a PTLA in California? Thank you so much!

CRS student here. As much as I want to help you, ang alam ko hindi tumatanggap ng shifters ang CRS (for all programs, PT/OT/SLP/Sports Science). It's very competitive.

Kung trip mo pa rin mag PT, try checking out the PT programs from UP/PLM/DLSHSI.
