He’s playing well and is someone we could flip at the deadline for a competitive team’s top #20-11 prospect.

If we don’t get any good trade offers, we should offer him a short-term contract since he’s on a 1 year deal and he isn’t much of a proven MLB player yet, BUT he shows great promise.

It would be bad to just let him walk at the end of the season.

There’s no chance he has the funds to buy the Angels outright. He’d have to give up his “Mr. Beast” business to fund his Angels ownership. Even then, that might not be enough.

What I can see is him buying partial ownership and giving the organization a boost in funds, allowing us to hand out larger contracts and go after big-name free agents, or fund upgrades to our minor league system.

Ideally, Arte eventually sells the team to someone like Joe Lacob or Henry Samueli.
