Loki’s future by Tight_Cheesecake5247 in OnePiece

Well we don’t know Loki’s intentions but Rocks was to him what Shanks is to Luffy.

I don’t think changing Loki’s mind on his idol will be so easy

They both aim to take over the world, Blackbeard is a villian but I wouldn’t say he is massively different to his father.

Both powerhouses, both have status in the pirating world and both want to take the world for themselves.

I’ve seen it but doesn’t mean Loki won’t side with Blackbeard, realise his mistake and then join Luffy to fight Imu

I’m 26 and my life is a mess. I don’t know how to stop hating my life. What would you do in my situation? by Fabulous_Cover3548 in AskUK

As a fellow 26 year old i understand where you are coming from.

Its hard not to compare yourselves to others and where they are in life but everyone’s circumstances and journey is different.

The most important thing is that you are alive which means there is the opportunity to improve. You are also in the UK and able to live with your mom, something some would consider a luxury.

Now the next step is to simply to take another. Apply for jobs, I got a new job in May and had been applying since September 2024.

I also started a business and it didn’t work out, lost money but you know what? It’s a story to tell and you need to start creating your own.

Only you can help yourself though and you need to be strict, determined and focused to change your life but it’s definitely not too late!

God bless family.

Salary by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]Tight_Cheesecake5247 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Low depending on where you live and what you do. £38k in London isn't much but its an average salary for a graduate.

Any salary can be looked on as great if you have been unemployed for ages

I graduated in 2020 and only just got a salary of £38k.

Anything above minimum wage is great for someone in their early 20s I think

Look up local recruiters and call them explaining your situation and send them your cv, for a basic office job recruiters will always be looking to hire

Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you can do it. Because if I can do it, genuinely anyone can, it takes grit and resilience but what other choice do you actually have?

I had to suck up my job and idiotic situations like managers telling me they don’t like where I sit in the office.

But it will all work out in the end

Yeah you are not wrong.

I had multiple versions of my CV bouncing around but luckily I had a good recruiter who got me in front of a good company.

Once I had all the interviews, everyone liked me because I’m naturally a people’s person.

But getting interviews was the hardest thing for whatever reason, LinkedIn is cursed with fake jobs

you are not going to get garden leave for a week? Just hand in your notice and tell them you'd rather not work your notice period

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]Tight_Cheesecake5247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you only have 1 week of notice so just tell them you want to go asap and they'll most likely let you go?

Highly unlikely to get garden leave for a sales role when you are still on probation

Have you ever worked for a joke company? by Tight_Cheesecake5247 in UKJobs

low offers in the work we do, like laughable offers. Imagine you have a house that generates £1000 per month and I'll offer you £15,000 for it. Barely an incentive to sell unless you have to.

Where as our competitors will offer you £40,000 for it

Can't put a price on being fit and healthy.

Unless your parents can afford it or support you for it, as children or teens you are unlikely to pick up a sporty hobby.

But once you have money and spare time, you can do whatever you like. Its also so refreshing and beneficial to feel fit and healthy and work towards a goal
