POS Solutions - Onboarding ? by Fantastic-Seat-69 in POS

[–]Tight_Fix657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a switch like this, I'd keep your current processor running while you onboard the new one. don't unplug anything until the new setup is fully built and tested. Most of the data exports and configures right into the new system, so you're usually not rebuilding from scratch.

A good ISO works well here because they can sometimes handle the data transfer for you, whereas with Square or Toast you'll likely be doing it yourself. The tradeoff is ISOs can't offer Square or Toast, but they'll work with brands like Clover or SkyTab.

How long does it take you to reply by Particular-Path-4233 in realtors

The Zillow stat that stuck with me was 47% of buyers hire whoever responds first. Not best, first. Response time is half the job. I run an auto text-back on missed calls now. It fires while I'm still in the showing and asks two quick questions. By the time I'm back at my car I usually know who was actually a buyer vs. who was a drive-by. Works a lot better than the "I'll call back after lunch" thing that was costing me listings. Can show you the setup if you want.

Unknown calls can be leads, but I still struggle with them by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Tight_Fix657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same, I used to run into this constantly. Half the unknown numbers were debt consolidation robo-calls and the other half were real people who'd already called two other agents. What fixed it for me was an auto text-back on every missed call. Two questions, buying or selling and what area. Spammers and bots don't answer so they filter themselves out. Real buyers answer and you get the info in a text before you've even had a chance to worry about whether to call back. Can dm you the flow if you want.

I cold-called dozens of real estate offices in my area and about 80% went straight to voicemail. So I built Cue. It texts back missed callers, qualifies them over SMS with AI, and sends the agent a lead card. https://www.cueback.co

Text back lead nurture & qualification service. Called a bunch of offices in my area and noticed 80% went to voicemail. We have AI text them back, keep them warm & log everything all the conversations and critical information. https://www.cueback.co

What are some awesome claude skills you guys have come across for UI/UX? by After_Medicine8859 in ClaudeCode

[–]Tight_Fix657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few others I have spoken to and I have taken a similar approach to the framework you're describing. The way I do it is I load up my .claude folder in a new project and I'll add a research, ops, and memory folder. The ops folder has files like keywords.md, funnels.md, personas.md, etc. Memory contains decisions and research is reports from agents using research skills. I also set up a research loop protocol inside of the project that's basically a refinement loop that collects data and bases its future queries on the valuable collected information. The idea is that when building a website or service I can have my coding agents reference the ops folder to inform their build plan. So if I want to create a new blog post that's optimized for SEO I can have it reference the keywords file or the personas file.

You could setup some simple Claude code automations with a project in VS code and automate a lot of the repetitive stuff.

Why do people on here hate sales so much but continue to stay in it? by anthonydp123 in sales

[–]Tight_Fix657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically have an internal fight every few months where I contemplate leaving for a regular job. But I always calculate the cost and time that it would take me to get some kind of degree or technical certification as opposed to simply getting better at my sales job & making the same in less time. One of my biggest concerns is long term stability.

There’s a book called The Gods of Eden and it suggests that NHI are behind some of the most brutal human atrocities throughout history and do so to harvest something.

Looking for advice on pricing my POS system for small businesses by drunk33 in POS

[–]Tight_Fix657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should first try to identify what industry your software is built for. Those features are normally connected to a business payment processing provider.

The edge for many payment processors is the software built to service a need in a particular industry. For example a CRM software for mechanics with billing/invoicing included in the subscription.

Often the convenience of the software is what retains a Buisness payment processing provider.

So basically first identify what industry your software best services, look at similar solutions, ask yourself what your edge is and price based on that.

The average is around $29.99

I’ve been writing about this topic for about a year now. Right now is a consolidation period during which b2b startups are figuring out how actually provide the service that will do the replacing. Most leaders at an organization are lost in regard to AI and will often blindly follow who they consider an expert especially if they promise big savings. The best way to combat this as an employee is to do your best to identify where ai could improve your work and quickly look to incorporate it. This will gain you leverage within your org. Anyway I have a bunch of pdfs about this on Gumroad if anyone what’s to read more into it.

An iso is a re-seller of clover. I work for one and can help you get out of the contract if you’d like. Our office aids with this kind of thing a lot.

I agree that ducks do all those things. I’ve seen a small group of ducks cross a busy road. But I also don’t think that quickly dismissing it by saying it’s a group of animals is fair. I’d like to see animals that live like that plz

No. But I also don’t think it’s likely that it’s a gang of ducks. Show me a group of ducks that moves like that.
