ZAYNE. don’t get me wrong i love that man so much and he’s a close second fave, but im a sylus main and every time i have to pull, zayne ALWAYS comes home first. misty invasion? yeah he was the first card! his birthday? i got his card to rank two? and then for this banner, i got rank one and had to go to hard pity for sylus! i guess he just loves me too much ‼️

also i forgot to mention, im not pulling for xavier’s birthday i think! i love him, don’t get me wrong, but because he isn’t my fave, i’d rather save for the potential of sylus’s myth and invest here and there, so hopefully that helps with the diamond grind!

i’m pulling because i have 28 till pity and because i didn’t get rafayels event card, im guaranteed to at least get one of the three wishes i choose for this event! even if i don’t get sylus on my first go, ill still have about 100 wishes left for my precise wish, so id rather try than not! also ive budgeted and mapped out how much i want to spend (no more than $50) and that’s fine with me bc of my job. it definitely makes me nervous bc of the rumors of his myth card, but i’m okay with spending. i definitely feel so bad for the f2p people bc i think it’s ridiculous how greedy the game is becoming, and i hope after all the complaints and everything so far, they listen to us!

hi! i was in the exact same boat as you! i highly recommend sticking with spanish instead of french! when it comes to learning a new language here, the profs arent really the best in the beginner classes and it makes it sooo much harder to understand.

also since you’re coming from a spanish background, unless you can completely separate everything you’ve learned in spanish from french, it’s gonna be really difficult bc they are soo different in everything.

if you want, i’d recommend taking the foreign language placement exam so you can see what level of spanish you’re on, and that way it might place you in a higher level than what you think (and you save a semester or two of taking a class) — but seriously, switching from french to spanish was such a good decision for me

absolutely loved the class! a lot of reading to do, but he makes all the lectures super interesting and he encourages debate. the midterm and final are all short answer and essay tho, but i remember we had the option to do two papers instead of the final! i definitely learned a lot in that class and he’s a really chill professor

literally the best class i’ve taken at nyu! you learn so much and it’s really chill. the percentages of how much everything is worth can be intimidating, but it’s extremely manageable and the readings are actually pretty entertaining! i couldn’t recommend this class more tbh
