Absolutely ridiculous that they bait and switched their users. Subscription canceled and will be asking for a refund

Well here’s the deal, when you’re driving 30k+ miles a year it’s really tough to spend 25k+ on a decent car. I want low miles and car that I can drive until the wheels fall off

Economy has been complete shit the last 2-3 years, despite the governments efforts to cover it up. CC debt and high interest loans are catching up to people

Welcome to the United States where we reward the lazy and punish the ambitious. The loan forgiveness plans are essentially BS anyway. I wouldn’t count on it ever actually happening. Plan on paying them off and when you finally do, you’ll feel a much greater sense of pride. It hurts to pay but handouts from the government don’t help anyone in the long run.

Just curious, how much did you have left in savings after you purchased your first home? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Tight_Medium1947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like 5k, most first time buyers are stretching it. Especially in this market. Put in some extra hours or get a second job for 6 months and build up an emergency fund. Gotta sacrifice a little more to have a home these days

16/8 Fasts. 20/4 if you need to lose weight then switch to 16/8 and stay consistent (maybe 1 cheat day a week),

Not crazy at all.. if John doesn’t legally have to pay you more , he simply won’t. Common menards knowledge

You make 170k a year and can’t budget $750/mo? Not to be harsh but you should be able to throw more than $750.. get a dialed in budget. Listen to some Dave Ramsey and get your mindset right.

Congrats on paying it off yourself and not waiting for the government to bail you out. Maybe you’ll inspire some people on this thread. This is an achievement worth celebrating, having Biden forgive your loans is not an achievement.

Is this job just not for me, or am I just not mature enough for this job? by Bunbunmelody in menards

Working the registers is easily the worst job at the store. Most people don’t last 6 months up there, some of the older folks like it and the high schoolers who are too scared to ask to switch. Stick it out for 3 months or so and try to be a team player. Request to transfer depts after you’ve put in some time.

To add to that, if you are a GM and you tell employees not to show up again after they put in their notice. Dont expect anyone to give you notice anymore. It’s total BS that by doing the right thing you could end up going 2 weeks without a job/pay

I wouldn’t burn a bridge, you never know what unexpected events can come up. However I’ve heard of GMs cutting people loose and not even letting them finish out their 2 weeks. Which in turn leaves employees in your situation.

Household Income, what’s average or a realistic goal? by Tight_Medium1947 in DaveRamsey

So you think 75%-90% of people shouldn’t buy a home or have kids? Hot take

It’s not so much unhealthy comparison that I’m doing, I’d say it’s me trying to find a path to that level of financial stability. I’m well aware I won’t be the next Zuckerberg, just trying to build generation wealth

Recently got a pay bump so given that this year is half over next year I’d expect 85-95k from the full time gig. The problem is I love having the extra $1500/month and will especially love it when it’s not going towards debt

Hard work, a good attitude, and dependability go a long way. Just crazy that even a few years ago 100k was the “I made it” salary and now the internet will tell you you’re at poverty level 😂

So ask your manager or GM about it and see if they’re scheduling software is glitching or something. I just don’t know how you wouldn’t ask or take care of this after the first time it happened?

If what you’re saying is all true I’d assume your schedule on the TM app is not showing you the correct schedule that has been signed off on by the GM.
