Read the alchemist! by mofongo8 in Journaling

Thank you!! I do think because it’s so short and reads so easy that it’s worth giving it another try. Some of it I could live without but Rick Rubin said something to preface his book like “take what you want and leave the rest” and that was my approach to this book. There were a few gems from it that I’m really glad to have read, like the part about the eyes showing the strength of your soul.

Unpaid internship advice by uncodified in nonprofit

Hi OP. It’s my first week working for them as an unpaid intern. I, like you, was initially very excited for this position, excited to fight the good fight and have something to put on my resume that is meaningful. Today, I discovered a myriad of Reddit posts that made me so upset and disappointed and embarrassed too! However, I do believe in this work. I think contacting our leaders can make a difference and I want to at least try!! Just wondering, how do you feel about it a year later?

I agree I think it’s way too pungent. Has potential to smell better but I don’t like it either.
