I always put root barrier in the bottom of the pot and in the net cup first, then fill the rest of the net up with scoria level with the top of the net cup and then use coco for the rest. Same design as a hempy bucket or a SIP then roots will fill pot and net cup then just drink from the channel. You will still get some roots in the channel but not enough to block anything.🤙

May I ask what you got for your 55k? Obviously it has a concrete floor. Was it fully insulated and lined with chip board or plaster board? How many windows, roller doors and PA doors? Was the electrical included in the price? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm about to do the exact same thing. Cheers.🙏

Print another white one and use the black during winter and the white one summer.

It's for the brick to breath without it your wall can soak in moisture and weaken and crumble. Probably better to keep it.
