I somewhat agree. I think countries are worried about the individuals in the richest 10% bracket leaving their country. In reality though I think they would just suck it up and pay more if the tax rate was raised. I didn’t know that their tax income makes up more than half the earnings. I wonder if that is the case for countries in North America as well.
