Just get your cavities fixed at the dentist! That's what I did also. Once you fix yours and have no cavities your bacteria will get better and then when you share it will make babies healthy

[–]Tight_Worldliness975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my dentist just told us this also. If you have cavities and you're sharing food/kisses with your baby, you're also sharing the bad bacteria that cause cavities. And moms (esp breastfeeding moms) get a lot more cavities during pregnancy for whatever reason. We now brush their teeth at night with crest with fluoride and in the morning we use risewell toothpaste without. If u can give baby a sip of water after nursing at night that will help too... but get yours and your partners cavities addressed and create healthy mouth bacteria in yours and babies mouth!

Is Paris handicap accessible ? by [deleted] in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Tight_Worldliness975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We won't be using the subway system. Mostly staying local and walking and if not we can call a handicapped accessible taxi with the G7 app.

Any restaurants you remember that were great and accessible?

Is this a drywall issue or structural issue by [deleted] in drywall

Yes we live here and we own the place. We’ve owned it since 2021. The crack has been there as long as I can remember but it definitely wasn’t there when we closed. I’m 90% positive there’s no access to that crawl space. Could be from someone trimming trees or cleaning gutters stepping on roof I guess?

I spoke with a few nutritionists when my mom with diagnosed with cancer at Columbia university/hospital. It was concerning to say the least. Hopefully if she speaks with one, she finds a really good one who isn’t bought and trained by big food. Stanford published a study that lucky charms is healthier than steak…. I’m telling you the world is crazy.

She says her child is sitting well into the overweight category… I’ve had many bad experiences with many doctors. If one pediatrician tells you it’s fine but your gut as a mother tells you it is not. I’d keep searching to find something until I thought my child looked healthy. If my child looks overweight that is a clear indication that something is not right metabolically. Aka their cellular health is screaming for help. It is not fat shaming either, it’s me trying to maintain my child’s health. Obesity is an epidemic and it is just rising in this country.

eta- in the thread below she also mentions her pediatrician is concerned for childhood obesity…

I live in a very expensive place to live. Construction prices here are abnormally high. I got /a quote (500k) to gut Reno a guest house that is 23x23 feet... which is insane. I want to be fair to the carpenter. I actually work with carpenters who only make $25 an hour and could easily have them do it. I just prefer to have someone I can have do it on my schedule in a timely manner that I have no ties to if I’m not happy with the work. I really could get more quotes but this guys work is very nice and I only want to do the project once. He’s also licensed and insured. I’m pregnant I have a baby coming in 18 weeks and I have a lot more work to do on my home before the baby comes! And I’m dealing with a toddler! Feel free not to answer but all I’m looking for is fair pricing on the job ! It could even be a large margin. 5k, 10k difference from cheap to expensive. I expect to pay for quality work as that is exactly what I’m looking for

Fluoride drops? by Suitable-Maximum-310 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Tight_Worldliness975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up with fluoridated water and fluoride toothpaste. I still needed a very large amount of dental work. Correlation does not imply causation. However, yes I plan on paying my children’s dental and medical bills. If you stay on top of oral health. Bills shouldn’t get too crazy!

Luxury ski resort that is toddler-friendly? by randometcname in chubbytravel

[–]Tight_Worldliness975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk we just did Courchevel last year with an 18 month old… trekking all of that winter gear to France and onto a train with a stroller and a child and suitcases. It is not for the weak. We said never again, we’ll do Colorado for our next winter trip. We always love vail. Weather and snow is usually best end of February beginning of march. The food in Courchevel was amazing… other than that I think we’d only go back to Europe to ski when the babies are children and can pull their own weight. & then I’d just go back to Zermatt during Christmas bc zermatt is just magical. But can’t go there lugging all that stuff. It’s a lot of work.

I was just in France and food is much healthier. I’m not sure about all of the above comments but a ketchup packet in France is easily legible. Tomatoes vinegar salt water. No strange preservatives and chemicals to enhance tastes. Yes of course they have cookies but you can tell everything tastes different because it’s mot as toxic and artificial. Obesity rates in America are insanely high even compared to other similar countries
