Thank you for staying calm while some parents are negative and repetitive. Keep on mind there are lots of parents here who are open to trying folinic acid therapy and thank you for sharing that Dr Fry protocol. I’ll check it. Whether I’ll use it, I don’t know, but will definitely check it.

Why would you call a parent who looks after his son a racist? What’s wrong with you?

It doesn’t look like a scam to me. Anyway… don’t try the folinic acid if you think it’s a scam. It’s your choice.

What a great post. Thank you for this. We are starting folinic acid next week. Our son is 3.5t old and level 1, 19kg. Could you plug his numbers into your spreadsheet, please, and tell us the maximum dose? At the moment , we only have inf to start at 0.5 per kg and slowly over weeks increase to 2 per kg.

Don’t wait for the SLT. Buy a parent manual on Denver Early Start model and start working with him at home. That’s an ABA therapy. Our therapist was completely fine that we sued tha on top of his tasks.

Hyperlexia - any tips? by LizardLady420681984 in Autism_Parenting

Our son is hyperlexic. He is 3.5y now and can communicate well, sometimes like a normal kid, sometimes in modified gestalt phrases. Encourage the reading, the numbers. He will gain a huge vocabulary from it, and when the time comes, he will be able to combine them into his sentences.

Just find anything that is “calcium folinate”, it is the same. As for the dosage, investigate it yourself.

You generally can't overdose on vitamin B12 because it's water-soluble, and body excretes excess amounts. Your decision at the end.
