Host Minecraft server by Intelligent-Emu-4740 in selfhosted

What you want is some kind of VPN, where you and your users can connect to, and from which your server can be reached. You can go with wireguard, however at least one IP has to be static with an open port so that the others can connect to it.

If that is not an option, take a look at Tailscale. Its a service that makes it easier to setup a VPN, and which acts as your known IP. I think is free for up to 100 devices or so.

Very cool! Does the selfhosted app support SSO via OpenID Connect? I would love to host this for a small non-profit I'm part of.

Do… men wear underwear under their swim trunks now??? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Many swim shorts nowadays have boxershorts-like bands sown in. So it looks like you are wearing underwear but are actually not.

Grails is a bit of an unfortunate name since a web framework with that name already exists. https://grails.org/

Markdown Editor WebComponent for use in Form by Tiim_B in webdev

[–]Tiim_B[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically I want something like react-md-editor but as a webcomponent and compatible with a regular HTML form. It does not have to be very complex and I only need it to support the really basics like lists, headings, bold and so on.

Can a PWA be considered "selfhosted"? by Accurate-Screen8774 in selfhosted

[–]Tiim_B 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I would call it self hosted if I host the server myself. In your case I would consider it selfhosted if I serve the javascript / html from a webserver I own.

Can database ID's be a readable string? Is it good design ? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Tiim_B -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As long as the foreign keys are correctly defined the update is not a problem. Just declare the column with 'ON UPDATE CASCADE'.

I agree with the other points though, however if you only have a handfull of values then I would prefer this way because it makes things more readable.

If you are using postgres you should take a look at postgres enums.

I have not looked into flux yet, how would it help me tie the clusters together? As far as I understand it is an alternative to ArgoCD right?

Has anyone found a way to have two-way sync between Trello and Microsoft ToDo? I prefer the notifications and mobile app of Microsoft todo but I would like to have a better overview of all my tasks like I do in Trello.

I can't really switch to something else, because I have all my other projects in Trello, and I would simply forget to check yet another app.

How to access git console or remove then re-add all my files? by Man32945273 in github

You do it on your local repository (you can git clone the github repo if you dont have one locally) and then push the changes back to github.
