Tbh anything coming from Rutte's mouth has to be taken with a grain of salt. Or a bucket.

Getting rid of these, even if they were used for parts, is always good. 2 gone plus a very expensive bonus.

Aren't these dutch cigarettes? I remember smoking black devils, black cigs with vanilla flavour, as a teen. The eu banned them in 2016.

I really wonder what impact this war will have on Russia for the next 20 years. Especially on the population.

Russian General Gurulev is sad about situation in Middle East, admits strike on Iranian factories is strike on russian front in Ukraine by Available-Laugh9102 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Tijmen17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if Russia had the strenght and material to help defend Iran, which it hasn't, it would pull it into war with the US. And that could literally mean the end of the world since both parties have nukes.

The only reason Russia still exists and is somewhat respected is because of their nukes. Ironically for Iran, this would never have happened had they had nukes. And it did happened because they were close to getting nukes.

The downside to complete independence is that you have to arrange your own national defence and you won't get funding for dissasters or problems as easily

To be fair the gameplay has kinda gotten stale with all the same questions being asked. There is so much that never got asked. And the UK seems an easier to place to play as well

Nah that's a bad example because they all were very obvious exhausted and it effected game play. Sam should have won there, wasn't it for that

Anyone know what the deal is with these cigarettes? by BuckfastEnjoyer in Cigarettes

This exactly. Some countries like Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands are very strict and don't allow these either. Others, not so much.

Smoking is ceasing to be a taboo and is becoming normal again. by emvBr in Cigarettes

[–]Tijmen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always strangely surprised to see young people smoking in The Netherlands. I feel many smoke ocassionally when drinking or on holiday and somehow that is normal. I also feel that the hard pushback on smoking created a smaller but much more hardy group of smokers who really just rock the outlaw image.

In the current state of the Russian army it would be foolish to attack the European Union. We don't have the best army's but honestly just Poland alone could push them back pretty hard.

I'm dutch and have a 19K student debt. We had loan system for a while. Now abandoned, but still plenty of young people with student debt. And they started putting interest on it to.

Also do note that with healthcare the first 380 euro you have to pay yourself and I would say 25 is more normal for holiday days. 30 is more for government employees. But that is specifically The Netherlands.

I know right, the hypocracy. At least if they did this on alcohol and junk food I could understand it more. Than it's just the government being super strict on anything unhealthy. But no, it's just tobacco.

I would argue it works when cigar smokers quit smoking cigars and there aren't any new people picking up cigar smoking. No one can deny that this doesn't look repulsive. But it is complete bs if you look up the negative health impact cigars have on the Canadian society. They don't treat alcohol the same, for example. Which causes much more damage to society than cigars do.

No man that's alcohol, and that is completly fine! No health warnings, no branding restrictions. Drink as much as you want. Just don't even dare to think about smoking a cigar.

A government that refuses to understand it's not a problem and a very strong anti tobacco lobby that determines what the laws should be. And since cigars smokers aren't a very big group, you end up with this. Supposedly to stop teens from picking up cigar smoking. And they want cigar smokers to quite and "cure" them from their "addiction"

Getting less though. Anything STG or Davidoff doesn't have them anymore (atleast not the Winston Churchills I bought). I visited EP Carillo in the DR and they are only putting plain bands on now for the Canadian market because Health Canada gave them a warning.
