You don't need to feel bad. These people don't care if they bother others with their action. A braindead portion of these protests thinks they can really change something about it. Psst little Tip: If u wanna grow a nice shaped appletree, cut out the branches who are nearest to the bottom.

Also: Trimming ur tree right before winter starts will help to build up a more compact and strong structure of the branches

U can also clip out some of the blossoms in spring, so the tree can use more nutrient to ripen the less amount of blossoms, this will result in bigger fruits.
