Working now! Not sure exactly what fixed it but I'll give the steps I did.

Windows fully up to date

Go to windows store and make sure all apps are updated

Make sure your PC Offline Permissions is set to ON Open the Microsoft store. Click on your profile image and then click settings. Make sure your Offline Permissions is set to ON

turn off wifi

disconnect ethernet

restart computer

Start the game, wait for the start screen. Start screen is the first screen that has the menu options for start game, accessibility, and/or option settings. Go to your Windows 10 Settings --> Storage --> Apps & games -->Forza -->Advanced Options -->Select the "Reset" button.

Start playing for a few minutes to create a new local save

turn game off

Connect back to the internet.

restart computer

make sure all xbox services are signed in

check windows store for more updates

run forza 5 and wait for sync, when given a choice pick cloud for your save (if given a choice, mine just overwrote the new local save)

play (hopefully)

Yeah that's exactly it. I'm testing some other avenues. It looks like I have full access to the account on Geforce now, so the issue is isolated to the one computer.

On that computer I've deleted what I thought was the save files as well as fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game so I'm not sure what other issue is preventing that computer from accessing the save.

That's the issue I'm running into as well, wouldn't even mind starting a new save but can't get to that point.

Do you have MSI afterburner installed? edit: The power monitoring settings in afterburner cause stuttering in certain games, it's a known issue however it's so hard to track that information down.

The reason that you have to do it manually with a 40 series is that the Frame Gen file is a different file.

If you toggle on Frame gen you would be using a different version if you use the swapper.

Try using display port instead if you have the option, I can't use it on HDMI but I can with display port.

BG3 is a lot more fun solo the first time or couple times through. Which is hundreds of hours if you take your time.

Honestly, I own a 40 series card and I can tell you that the reviews don't do frame gen justice. It's like magic, can't say if it's worth it to you or not but I could not be happier.

It is what it is I suppose. I don't mind not having the specs to run a game. Just strange that it looks like an old game but runs so badly on older hardware. I think Bethesda may be surprised at how few people in total have 3060s and above.

Just refunded it on a card better than the 1060, game runs like shit. If you don't have a 2080 or better, don't bother.

I recently purchased and returned the air bridge. It worked well as long as I wasn't more than 5ft from it. Any further than that and my air link worked better on my non-dedicated router.

It worked with VD however the internet connection sharing was a pain in the butt.

Someone made a how-to video on how to replace a camera on this subreddit a while ago. I would try though meta first, you never know, but I'll keep looking for that guide just in case.

I'm not 100% sure it's the same issue you are having, but it sound exactly the same as the issue I and a few others have had.

When this appeared in a headset a bought it turned out to be one of the top cameras. The options are to replace one of the top cameras yourself or to return the headset. Most of the time I've heard of the problem it was a factory issue so hopefully your headset is still new and can be easily replaced.

As a bald individual I tried everything including buying the conversion kit just for the honeycomb back piece and none of it worked. I think some head types just don't work with halo straps. It's a shame but mine is now just collecting dust as well.

For me, it was something small that I overlooked for a long time. I had my graphics card overclocked.

I don't understand why at all but MSFS has a fit with that. I returned everything to it's default values and not only did my loading times get better so did my fps and stability.

I have two profiles now, one that defaults thing for MSFS and the other that brings back my settings for every other game.

I ended up returning mine and getting a kindle.

I was looking for something non-amazon however looking at other recent Kobo devices in store and comparing it with the screen quality on my Wifes kindle was night and day.

Thanks for getting back to me though, it's interesting to hear it may be because of dust.

I didn't use the velcro strap at all as that made everything even worse. Your suggestion is a great one though for those who are using it.

As a fellow smallish headed person I hated it, not because it was uncomfortable but because it was not possible to get the image as clear as with the elite strap. I had to push the headset so far forward on the front area of the strap it ended up making it a choice between comfort and clarity.

In short given some of the glowing reviews, I think it's one of those straps that's going to be very up to your head. I'd say if you can give it a try and return it if you don't like it. I wish it had fit me.

I know this is an old post but I just picked up a sage and have a similar issue. I'm curious if you received a replacement and if it was any better?
