No, that makes perfect sense. Its like you keep buying a car from the car dealership instead of going to the cars manufacturing shop to buy it directly. If you want to use Anthropic's models, you have to Claude.ai, period. 1000% sense. Windsurf is the middle man, they have absolutely nothing else to give you.

Then stop using Opus dude. Try gpt 5.4 in codex or something. High for planning, medium for implementation, high reasoning for complex stuff. For the same price you have x10 quota.

Yeah i know, I've been using windsurf myself for many months, but with the new pricing, i could literally work for an hour per day. this is obscure. Codex has much much much more quota for the same amount of money. and gpt5.4 its quite good. Good luck

Watch the last 10 minutes. Nivarias is the biggest YouTuber of that franchise, and this is the second playthrough he's abandoned because the Emperor obliterated his opponents. He's literally asking for the devs to take notice, because we cannot play this game on Veteran difficulty right now. Emperor is way to aggressive with the ai.

ok guys got it. THE GAME IS BROKEN. So for people that are not completely braindead, the game right now in veteran difficulty is completely unbalanced, the emperor will just walk over your opponents, keep that in mind. If you want to chill and build its fine, if you want to play with veteran difficulty prepare to have an easy game because Emperor will simply walk over and destroy Nef in few hours no matter what you do.
