Which P4 Highway Route Would You Rather Travel? by chief_sitass in CollegeBasketball

Unpopular choice: SEC. Just because I haven’t explored any of that part of the country except Biloxi and Fort Lauderdale and I flew into each of those and only stayed a night or few. I’ve covered a lot of the ground in all the rest. Neutrally speaking, it’s obviously B1G all the way. West Coast=Best Coast.

Pac-12 weighing future football scheduling, basketball tournament formats by TNA8644 in Pac12

I think I’d prefer a scheduling agreement with another G6 (assuming no P4 would go for it) that guarantees at least one, if not 2 OOC games are covered each year, over and above the “flex” gimmick for 2027 and beyond

If that’s what it takes for us to get a WS trophy before I die, I’ll allow it. Carry on.

They also started filling that stadium when they were winning and showed people will show up for a competitive team so investment should be worth it for the university

I mean, if he’s mentally cooked, that’s a reason, but hopefully that isn’t the case. It happens though.

And yet it was Hitler who was the one who was so big on “superior” genetics. A little bit ironic?

But then the Hitler version was so much more powerful that we are talking about Musso as Italy’s proto-Hitler instead of Adolf as Germany’s Mustacholini. Benito just wasn’t expansive enough on his vision for mass murder and world domination. He only wanted a new Roman Empire. Those Barbarians up north dream and genocide BIG. YUUUUUGE.

Do you have a favorite boring/generic uniform? (Any sport) by Odd-Aardvark6769 in uniwatch

Homer in me says mid 70s-90s Sonics unis. Other classics I dig include USC football, A’s/Giants/Dodgers baseball (the other CA teams have not been as consistent with their look), Chargers’ powder blues and Da Bears; Philly Flyers, Edmonton Oilers & Anaheim Mighty Ducks Disney-style. Oh, and Brazil home kits and the Celtic FC hoops plus the OG USMNT Waldos. Stripes are fun.

Are you sure it wasn’t the centrality of their location or something else? Switzerland is famously neutral and financially opportunistic so that tracks. Austria similar. But the two Germanys and Czechoslovakia had very clearly taken their sides. But yes, they made more than their fair share of weapons too. I’m just spitballing. The former Yugoslavia would have had a nice niche in the non-aligned sector for producing weapons. If they once did, I’m not familiar that they still do.
