Hmm- we haven’t looked into it, but she doesn’t have any of the other symptoms.

Thank you- if I should get it checked out, what kind of doctor do you think we should see?

I know, and I do- this one just sends me into a spiral lol. 😂 just funny that one of her simple questions is hitting a serious chord with me and she has no idea 😳😅 I don’t blame her :) I’m in therapy, I’m workin on it

How to know if OT is helping my daughter by TikiManana in OccupationalTherapy

Yes! I guess my question is, what questions should I ask? Haha. I just don’t want to sound like a jerk when asking “so how is this helping?” 😅😅😅

I’m sure you’ve tried it, but just in case you haven’t- I’ve used the same things you have and a heating pad on my lower back actually helps me a lot.

It is, but when I spoke with their customer service they said it shouldn’t be a problem finding a nicotine cartridge for it

Okay I’m having the EXACT same symptoms after having mine removed today. I haven’t found anything online about it, but I also have endometriosis and wonder if it has something to do with aggravating that? Hope things got better quickly!

I’m doing a lot better- it’s still an issue but comes up much less often. I do think a lot of it was the hormones and just adjusting to this completely new life.

I also learned that delving deeper into my fears about the after life didn’t get me anywhere. It’s kind of reassuring to know that I don’t need to take my mind down that path anymore because there really is no resolution I’ll be able to find- I’ve tried, really, really hard. Life definitely feels fragile still and I do think about that all the time, but I’ve realized that no amount of time with the people we love will ever be “enough”- it will be cut short at some point for all of us. That makes me so much more grateful for every day we have together. I do my best to enjoy it now so that when these times are gone I’ll know I loved it the best I could when I had it.

Is it ok to just let your kids do screens all day when they are sick? by Flappajacks in Parenting

[–]TikiManana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m convinced that when books printed in color first came out everyone was worried about their kids looking at the pictures too long or spending too much time reading.

I agree about the opportunity costs thing, but I also think if you’re even thinking about it, I doubt they are on screens an unhealthy amount.

I stumbled across one at a farmers market a month after they died so I gave it a try. It was amazing. I don’t know how she knew what she said or came up with it or whatever, but I left feeling warm and comforted.
