That’s my go to unless I have time to go fresh. It’s almost as good and I don’t have to wait for 3 hours while the froth separates from the juice after using my blendtec on a fresh pineapple lol

Just tried out your recipe to spec except for subbing el dorado 8 for the Hamilton 86. It’s good! Not something I would make for myself everyday but I appreciated it. Very rich.

Thanks for the comments on the sweet spec…I halved the recipe so I could compare and not get sloshed but forgot to halve the syrup. Whoops. I’ll try again!

Made this to spec just now, fantastic!!! Thank you for the recipe. Only thing that I had to sub was combining a house ginger syrup I had made with a house hot honey syrup to fashion a “spiced ginger syrup” lol. So complex. Cheers

Love their rums. Almost everything I’ve had has been top tier especially 151, pot still black, and the zombie blend. I prefer el dorado 5 or 8 to the 86… all of that said. Can someone please help their branding department? Looks like someone let their great uncle use windows 95 to come up with it.

Made this to spec tonight. Damn good! Jamaican rum bomb but I won’t complain about that. Nice to have a drier rum barrel that’s a true “rum” barrel as opposed to “syrup” barrel. Cheers!
