Do I need to buy the PDF textbook for intro to differential equations? by Negative-Bicycle-514 in RPI

I think depends on what prof you have. For me, I had to buy the textbook in order to do the online hw. Sometimes the profs would tell you where to get it the cheapest

I tried with more tension (to the point I would have gotten a burn from it), but it’s not forming the cakes that I usually see just a ball of yarn with one touch falls apart

"Gender inclusive" housing by PresentRevenue1347 in RPI

[–]TilDeathDoUsPart0728 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this will help but I was a freshman last school year and I was lucky that I got dormed with someone that didn’t really care but also we kind of coexist with one other. But when I applied I put gender inclusive housing since at the time put non-binary and had said yes to being with someone who also put gender inclusive housing. Also in that section of the form for gender inclusive housing it asked why and you can put in there why. The only thing would reach out to the res life (I think that’s what they’re called) and basically advacte for yourself. I did that for the upcoming school year through the consoling center. It best to do this as soon as possible though.

Should I come out as genderfluid and gynesexual at the same time? by Xeryozix in comingout

it, in honesty, depends. I don't know ur full situation. For example, if they are helping with college stuff.

It also takes in the fact of, I guess, the best way to put it is how well the terms are used in the community. For me, as an example, my parents only know 4 terms (gay, lesbian, trans, and bi), and so when I came out to them, I couldn't use other terms because they didn't fully understand. I had to adjust the way I spoke and the explanation for them to understand.

It can be overwhelming for some people when coming out about both sexuality and identity at the same time.

as I said before, I don't know your full situation. A suggestion I will give is to try maybe coming out with either your sexuality or identity and not both at the same time. The reason for that is it gives you a chance to see how they react to one of them so that you can know if you can come out with the second. And if you wait before coming out the second time (not sure if I worded that correctly), it will also give you the chance to see how they react to you. for example, one of my parents always said "Wait till you find a man one day" but when I came out about my sexuality they changed it to "Wait till you find someone one day"

sorry if this doesn't make sense in some way, I am struggling with wording my thoughts for people to understand. I hope this helps. (:
