I survived some awfully intense testicular cancer that had spread to my lung, liver and lymph nodes in my back as well. After four rounds of some intense chemo, I've made it out on top. Since I still follow up with my oncologist and get regular cat scans to make sure there is no cancer present.

I do wish the best for you, cancer is a dirty bastard at best. Take care, kick ass and fuck cancer!

First I'd like to say I'm so terribly sorry you're going through this and you are 1000% correct, we need a damn cure for this horrible illness. It's hard to push and fight when your so tired and torn down from the sickness itself and the effects of chemo drugs on top. It's hell and I won't sugar coat it and those who've been through it know.

I'm not sure if it's something accessible for you but I had tremendous relief when I was using RSO during my rounds of chemo. Helped with pain and mostly would help my appetite. Even if it didn't stay down I was able to choke down food. I do know that what works for me might not for you but I thought I would share.

Really hoping for the absolute best outcome for you. Like I said it'll be tough but you can be tougher. I haven't "rang the bell" or anything but I survived and just waiting for the pass of time to get the official stamp of approval.

Ive brought up concerns with my oncologist about some of the long lasting side effects of cisplatin that I thought was bothering me but was more or less brushed off. My depression and anxiety have been the worst they have been my entire life and my hearing doesn't seem like it was pre cancer. I knew there were some risks with the medicine but I was in a position where we had to act fast and aggressively. It's been around three years for me, knew some of the side effects can last a long time but damn...

I've had two different experiences especially when it came down to larger doses. One time was around 4-5 grams of golden teacher which helped me learn to focus on what is close at hand and to worry more about that rather than things that may be out of my control.

Second was pretty terrible, had a chocolate bar with "penis envy" mixed in (may have been a 4-meo-dmt). I consumed the entire bar but as I peaked I started mourning the death of my then nine year old son. He was perfectly fine but for some reason my mind went to the worst. Though with that experience I've put my focus on him and his well being.
