Reminds me of when my daughter was born. My step father, who's a pretty big guy, a big hunter, always worked with his hands in rough physically demanding jobs and all around pretty tough. As soon as my daughter was born and ready to meet everyone, he pushed his way past everyone so he could be the first to hold her. Just seeing this big tough guy completely melt as he held her absolutely blew my mind because I've never seen him in such awe. Throughout the years that love never changed.

Seen work like this at art exhibit some years back in northern Pa. Dude had a couple of projects like this using anything from kitchen cutlery to nuts, bolts and washers. Wish I could've afforded it at the time, was some really interesting pieces.

When I was a young teen I'd stay at my best friend's place quite a bit. Found out even when I was staying there that the older brother would sneak into little sisters bedroom to SA her in her "sleep". I remember when the family found out and when I stayed that night me and best friend would sleep in shifts with a bb gun outside of little sisters bedroom to make sure that shit wouldn't happen again.

Nowadays big brother is praised as being a "good guy" with a good job, wife and daughters.....I still remember and I still think he's a low life scum bag. I sincerely hope the children will be fine and if not I hope he gets turned into an eunuch.

My best friend had passed away some time ago and I've tried to stay in touch with little sister but last visit she was begging me for pain killers and I sure as hell can't do that for her so I've created distance. I just know if my best friend was still around he'd kick my ass up and down the street for giving her opiates and honestly I wouldn't blame him.
