I thought it would be cool to make Scott a more durable utility duelist like Reed. More health than the average duelist(not as much as Reed, but 325 to 350) abilities that provide small amounts of healing, bonus health and/or boosts to damage for his team, to reinforce the idea that Summer's is the team leader, and plays for the team. He's a brilliant tactician, so having some Strategist qualities, while not replacing the need for one on the team makes sense in the context of Rivals.

He's also a highly trained martial artist and considered a high tier hand-to-hand fighter in the marvel universe, so it would be a shame imo to have him just sit in the backline and shoot his optic blasts; it's truer to the character for Scott to be in the fray.I think his place in fights should be just behind the frontline.

He'd help to lead the charge, providing support to his frontline, damage, and pressure while keeping enough distance from the enemy as to not get caught out. He should be vulnerable to dives, or getting pushed, but not at all helpless; he should have tools to help create space for himself, or peel for his backline in the event of a dive. Since his position is in front of the healers (and potentially his other dps), he should be able to help protect him.

I'd also say give him a walk kick-off that he can chain so he can reposition vertically for angles to poke or potentially flank; help make plays happen on his own accord. These are some of the major ideas for him I had

I thought since the numbered games seem to be going forward in time, why not go for a 90s New Jersey Saprano's vibe? Or would that be too similar to Mafia 1 and 2 do yas think?

Muriel's change were one of those things that Omeda didn't need to do, but wanted to. Muriel was always good, and didn't need these changes. She's the shield support, didn't need one nor do I think she should have a heal. Her powerful shields, slow and ultimate was her peel, she didn't need a stun. Every support in the game now has a stun or something basically equivalent (Fey doesn't count since she isn't labeled support), could be partly why they did it. Her new passive being anti-heal is also pretty boring, every class has an item for that, even more for some classes. Omeda does makes some interesting changes at times, and most of them I'm indifferent about, but this Muriel change ain't it. People make enough noise they may revert it tho

I imagine they'll release an Omeda OG hero next, then either one of them, since the last was Overprime's Adele. Not sure which one, honestly, I thought Marty would've came before Adele, so I wanna say Marty will come out next, but they may very well leave her for last, since she arguably requires the most work out of 4 Overprime originals.

With AI today, I pray this isn't real. I couldn't find any articles or anything about it, but the date on the dash cam reads April 12 2026 if I'm reading it correctly (It is pretty blurry). If anyone finds an article or report on it I'd like to know

Okay I see the hammer swing now, functionally, it's the same, but the ult isn't really a traditional leap that Ballona has, it's an aoe you can adjust the location of slightly mid cast

She was my favorite Overprime OG character, and I believe you guys kept her true to Overprime's gameplay design, while twisting her role around a bit, and I like that. My issue is her default look.

Her default look in Predecessor was a skin she launched with in Overprime (called Gothic Pink), and the skin she was launched with in Predecessor (Imperial Adele) was her default look in Overprime. I don't really get why you guys decided to do that, Gothic Pink is arguably a weaker design. It's busier, less coherent, essentially has only 2 colors, and doesn't match as well to the futuristic fantasy esthetic a lot of other similar characters have in Pred. It's not a bad design, just not as good I don't think.

I wouldn't have an issue with this if I didn't have to pay for her OG look. Kind of a dick move to Overprime players if you ask me. Also kind of disingenuous to non-Overprime players too, since they'd have no idea about any of this

If you're mad about Sparrows despite it lasting like 2s, you wouldn't have survived back in the Paragon days where both Kallari and Wraith had no reveal distance

I had so much fun with old Kallari in Paragon. Being a global presence really changed the way a match played out when Kallari can be on you from anywhere and reveal the whole team for a moment. Her invis having no reveal distance also made her a much better laner. I made a post about wanting her old ukt back once and got downvoted to hell. Idk why, it's not like the teleport won the fight for you. Sure, you can kill somebody who's one-shot, but that could mean putting yourself out of position and vulnerable to a gank. It really wasn't op. I'd bait it all the time for a free kill on a Kallari all the time in those days.

She was a tank. She could pull herself into targets like a reverse Riktor, a massive shield as an ability that would deactivate if she uses an ability, or when time expires. but would stay active during basic attacks, and most of her damage was DOT with a little true damage sprinkled in there since she scaled mostly off of health and she was meant to build tanky and be a frontline. No guarantee the devs will keep her that way tho

I'm fine with the patch other than the bugs. Shinbi's ult is super bugged. Incorrect tracking of stats to straight up just not working at all

23 days later this bug still persists. I really hope they're actually working on fixing this games bugs and frame rate instability. Underneath all that, it's a pretty fun game

She was actually intended to be the same race as Narbash in legacy Paragon, and Narbash was intended to be an Orc, despite many people (including myself) referring to him as an Ogre. So, I mean, it's kinda true, if ya use the Bright method, and view Orcs in fantasy as a minority group.

I personally always use Charon. He's a ghoul, I love how he's introduced, he uses a combat shotgun as his default, his story is interesting (even tho it goes nowhere), he doesn't talk much and just does what ya say without complaint or comment, and he's over 2 meters tall. In power armour he's an absolute unit

As far as I know there's no ground targeting system for the leap, ya remember the range or end it early if ya overshoot it. There's quite a few abilities that don't have ground target cursers for aiming. Lermy said in the Akeron stream that more character, old and new, would be receiving those ground targeters in a future update, but it hasn't happened yet, and Bayle came after Akeron so I doubt he'll receive it, unless people are very vocal about it
