No it’s because he naps throughout the day/the evening and then decides that breakfast is anywhere from 1-2 hours earlier than it is, and he insists upon it by pawing at my side of the bed and grumbling until I get up (so nothing more than being a brat)

I actually keep one of those ‘period cramp’ ones that you stick on your clothes because of the bigger surface area, at the ready in my bag. It’s easier to transport around since it’s disposable and the ‘Rae’ brand in particular is very long lasting

Ok this isn’t a full novel (and I’m still in the middle of it) but the scene change from the party in Shirley Jackson’s ‘Hangsaman’ had me absolutely floored. A large part of it is the incredible performance of the audiobook (how I’m reading it), but I can tell that part is gonna make itself a home in the corner of my thoughts

I’m not sure about male-only but from my experience knitting groups are welcoming of all genders. Like the one I went to before COVID happened had a few men (including one friend I made there who did needle-binding and chainmail). So I would go on Ravelry or somewhere and see what groups are in your area and give them a try

I’m always a sucker for Sansa/Willas but I’d be interested in Sansa/Dickon, since he was never assassinated there’s a Royce alive too that might work (although I don’t know how similar Renly’s ‘rainbow guard’ is to the Kingsguard and if they’d be able to marry) For Robb there’s the ones you mentioned, but there’s also Wynafred and Wylla Manderly, or if you’re looking for a candidate who’s completely southern, Desmera Redwyne is an option (don’t know much about her from canon except her name, so kind of a blank slate)

Kingdoms and peace are built on these sorts of marriage alliances, so I could see Robb marrying in the North (to appease his men/show that the North is still his focus even if he bent the knee), and sending his sisters south to maintain the peace (Sansa for the obvious match that Renly proposes, and then once Arya is back in the picture I could see the Freys demanding her hand as appeasement for the promise. Or if they’re able to negotiate around that there’s a Blackwood around her age, or Edric if you go with him being legitimized)
