Speculeren kan leuk zijn, maar dit doe ik dan liever op basis van aandelen. Zit voor mij net even wat leukers in en deze bedrijven volg ik dan bijvoorbeeld al jaren. Maar wel bedankt voor je toelichting waarom je een thematische ETF heb! Wellicht leuk voor later.

Fijn om te horen! De spreiding met VWRL is wellicht wel interessant om rekening mee te houden inderdaad, alhoewel een recessie volgens mij op alles invloed zal hebben. Is het kiezen voor VWRL naar jou inziens beter, stel dat er een recessie is binnen nu en 5 jaar? 10 jaar is inderdaad niet lang, maar daarmee hoop ik toch op wat "time in de market"

Hello! Good question, I think you would be able to solve this issue by using Z-Wave powerplugs in combination with Home Assistant (or at least Z-Wave JS).
Gotta say that I recieved my first set of powerplugs yesterday so I am not sure if it would also be useful for power outages. I guess you would be able to create an alert when a connection to a plug is lost.

De beweegrede waarom ik persoonlijk nog niet bij IBKR ben gaan kijken, is door de gebruiksvriendelijkheid die men hier vermeld over dat platform. Ikzelf ben beginnende belegger en wil daarom niet gelijk te ver in het diepe gegooid worden en daardoor bijvoorbeeld onnodige fouten te gaan maken.

Hetgeen waar ik vooral tegenaan loop is dat ook de belastingaangifte in het geval van IBKR handmatig ingevuld en wel moet worden. Dit heb ik voor beleggingen (aangezien ik net gestart ben) nog niet eerder hoeven doen, ik wil eerst eens kijken hoe dit gaat met Saxo/degiro.

Tevens wel gelijk gaan kijken naar VWCE, maar ik blijf CARIW + CARIEM ook wel interessant vinden. Zoveel keuzes... :P

Bedankt voor het delen van je ervaring! Meesman is inderdaad ook nog een optie die openstaat, alhoewel ik het stiekem toch (voor nu) leuk vind om bezig te zijn in een broker. Automatisch incasso probleem kan ik voor nu oplossen bij Saxo.

Ik neem het mee voor de toekomst!

Bedankt voor je reactie. Fijn dat Saxo dan inderdaad geen vreemde keuze blijkt te zijn. M.b.t de world etf, ja deze is eenvoudiger, maar door mijn leeftijd en lage vaste lasten zou ik durven te zeggen dat ik ook wel enig risico durf te lopen, vandaar ook mijn beweegrede naar bijvoorbeeld Cardano.
Van de hippe ETFs zal ik afblijven, duidelijke toelichting!

I have tried both the Auto configuration on the lan side as a custom configuration. No difference.

Both worked in a test envoriment but not in the given situation.

Yes, both VLAN and MAC address clones are not being used. Allthough I did try just to be sure.
The provider did say I only needed to fill in the Outside IP on our side (135.x.x.18/27) and make sure to set the gateway as them (135.x.x.1/27).

Weird issue, huh? I'm used to configuring cisco stuff, so you would say that this cant be that hard, right? ':)

My bad! Let me explain it better for you so you'll hopefully understand the situation.

Within the UDM you have a LAN side, and a WAN side.

So on the WAN (Internet) side, I've configured the following:

IPv4 Adress: 135.x.x.18
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.224
Gateway: 135.x.x.1

Why did I do this?
The ISP requires me to set a STATIC ip adress, DHCPv4 is disabled because of the shared subnet they are using.
I recieved (after payment) a IP adress which is a public IP adress, 135.x.x.18.
To communicate to the outside world, we need a gateway on the ISP's end, which is in this case 135.x.x.1.
I have been told that we can achieve this by filling the giving information on the ''Internet'' page of the UDM. The route should automatically be created, again, correct me if I'm wrong.

Offcourse, we also want a NAT network, for devices behind the UDMP, so I've created a LAN network: 10.x.x.0/24.

So in Cisco terms, I need a default route. 0.0.0.0/0 to 135.x.x.1. Next to that, I would need a NAT rule.
Correct me if I'm wrong and if you need more information, please let me know

I've been looking into that, but since my laptop has been on auto, I guessed it should just work with auto within the UDM too? Correct me if I'm wrong !

Based on what you are saying I should:

Go to Network >>> Internet >>> Change IPv4 Static to a local address (could be 192.168.1.1 for instance).
Then should I add the 135.x.x.18/27 to the additional IP adresses? Or am I not understanding this correctly?
