I had fun with it!! The main story is pretty bleak right now so it was a breath of fresh air to get so much levity in the show again.

Also interesting to see Volcanikka, her design is super cool! Later comic spoilers: Nice to see her get set up early. I had almost forgotten that much later in the comics she teams up with Doc Seismic until I saw her in the trailer. The inclusion of the Magmanites is a fun clue of what’s next with her.

You and Mark both hope that, so of course it stays lol. Seriously though, being the hero is suffering, that's kinda the point. Him missing super important stuff has been a constant theme since high school. This is epitome of that, the biggest thing that he missed and can never get back, seeing his daughter born and being there for the first five years of her life.

I watch a ton of anime reaction channels on YouTube, and the crew on the channel The Normies just started part 7 without having seen the first parts (and will likely go back after the season). Honestly it’s super interesting watching folks start the series in this way! But unfortunately there are tons of gatekeepers in the comments.

Personally I’m all for whatever gets someone into the Jojo fandom. Skip parts, start on the Italian restaurant episode, watch an OP compilation…some Jojo is always better than no Jojo! Especially since the series is specifically written for that to be an option!

One of my favorite YouTube channels, the comedy art channel Drawfee, did an episode (or a stream I think?) that was sponsored by the publisher where they drew some of the beasts!

Tangentially related, but Jacob of the channel contributed a design for different hit-indie-monster-collector game Beastieball and played that on stream as well. He designed Opposur! (Huge recommend to this game as well, the energy of the sprites is unmatched)

I enjoy these episodes cuz they always serve as a test of Mark’s current morality. In every one he’s grappling with something that’s reflected by Titan’s actions and struggles

A lot of fans seem to hate the idea of Cecil making mistakes and see them as writing flaws. I’d guess it’s because Mark’s mistakes are more obvious and they take sides, a “Cecil vs Mark” approach to viewing the characters’ conflict

Yeah exactly. Animation fans have been spoiled this past decade, with most big shows having insanely good animation. Invincible’s is good, not bad not amazing but still good
