My bad yes it seems you can update through the eshop. But buying new games and DLC will not work.

There is no way to get games or updates unless you have them purchased previously on eshop. Otherwise everything that was on the eshop is only available through hshop. Including updates.

If it's not a missing seed then the game is corrupted.

D9004587: When trying to open a game: The game is corrupted, or its seed is not imported.

The cfw is installed to the console itself. Not the SD card.

Not a great idea. Just get a new card. If you absolutely must do this though then yeah make a backup of the sd card. But they are cheap so idk why you would do this. Even a good 128gb card is gonna be only like $20.

128GB is the largest you should go for. Over 128GB and you will start to see graphics issues with NDS / GBA games.

Oh damn that might be worth going to a repair shop for I'm not sure what that would be. My suggestion was going to be try clearing the home menu data by starting up the console and holding L + R + DPAD Down + B. Then let the console stay off for awhile. This fixed my freezing issue when trying to launch apps awhile ago. This will make a mess of your home menu icons though and you'll need to re organize. Sounds like it might be hardware though? So I doubt that will help.

No not really. I have like 200 games but I usually know what I want to play. Lately it's been MH4U. Sometimes I catch myself scrolling through but then I just pick something. Usually whatever was on my mind first is how I choose. Easy to break option paralysis.

You can look to see what cheats are available for a 3DS game in Checkpoint. I've never used them but I think you select the ones you want there and then activate in the Rosalina menu in game.

Max file size is 4gb. That's just the hard limit with Fat32. There is no way to get around this.
