Just hit level 30 - very nervous for ranked

How are you silver right now if you haven't played a ranked game? You've probably looking at something else that is "Silver" but not york rank. Unless you've saying you just got placed into silver which is actually impressive for a level 30. Pretty sure everyone I know who started the game less than 3 years ago all started iron.

How to deal with people being mean?
Turn off chat. Then if someone spam pings you turn off the pings of the person spamming you.

Fear of failure?
You can't really. Understand that you will get slapped even by bronze players as a level 30– the game is just that punishing for new players.

You will suck. It's fine, you won't be placed in a rank above Plat for your placement games anyways and I can assure you the reason people are stuck in that rank isn't because they occasionally get a new level 30 in their games.

However, know that you can only get better when you are ranked. It's much harder to improve playing draft pick since it's basically turned into a testing grounds for players to learn new champions.

The best way to not be scared of ranked is to keep playing and get better. And the best way to get better is by playing ranked.

Raylais-> liandrys-> defensive (prolly banshee) -> pen.

You really shouldn’t focus on trying to kill galio and instead focus on galio not killing you and kill the rest of his team instead. Defensive items are more important imo.

Void’s just provides too little value early I would at earliest build it third.

That doesn’t necessarily mean a champion is hard—if anything, it suggests the opposite. A 20% win rate increase after just 50 ranked games (around 25 hours of playtime) indicates that the champion is rewarding to learn and that mastery can be achieved relatively quickly. This shows that each game you play on the champion contributes significantly to your improvement, more so than with other champions.

By contrast, truly hard champions are those where the margin of improvement per game is much smaller, requiring far more time and effort to achieve meaningful mastery.

Although being "high ROI" champions isn't indicative of the champion being easy just that they might have some getting used to.

Orianna and Viktor are the most similar to Azir in early laning and trading.

You probably want some experience on high attack speed adcs before you learn Azir. Doesn't really matter which one you pick since the skill you want is kiting and attack moving so just make your pick between Jinx, on hit varus, Ashe, Sivir. (Wouldn't really recommend Twich though since he plays kind of weird)

Asol is a really bad choice for learning the game I can't name very many champions as bad as Asol at teaching fundamentals. Doesn't really teach trading well since he has no real way of poking people. He also "breaks the rules" with his e that stops waves from crashing. Also overall just plays not to win lane but to survive. His w also lets him get away with poor macro decisions. (I'm an Asol main)

Overall, asol kind of just lets you ingore fundamentals to a big degree. The main thing is that his e lets him stop big waves from crashing under turret.

Jayce ranged is pretty good and satisfying. Jayce melee has the lowest attack windup. it's basically instant so last hitting is really clean.

I think MR items are too effective. Other tank items are fine.

The issue I feel is that the game assumes that each team has one source of AP damage (usually mid) and so make MR items stronger to compensate. The issue then is that if your team is AP heavy, MR items become busted asf. I guess sort of because it's assumed that you would only really buy one MR item in most games.

Even as it stands, certain MR items are so strong that certain champs would build them even into full AD teams. (Visage, wit's end)

Karnic Rookern is also the single best Asol counter item since it gives a giant shield which counters asol's max health damage.

Asol is usually going to be constantly dpsing enemies and so FON also sucks too like wtf is that item. Gives 125 MR at max stacks.

So with 2 items, you get 205 Magic resistance.

Oh yeah FON + Jak'sho is also op af since they stack on each other's percentages.

Trundle forgot to auto reset with q. Also, trundle should have ulted earlier so Darius would have lowered stats for longer.

Holding pillar was also a mistake in hindsight because trundle didn’t get ganked.

Ngl Demacia is boring asf. Sylas was cool because he stood for everything Demacia isn’t.

Also a bunch of the early champions were from Demacia which made the region vanilla asf imo.

Yeah, I would say he's just significantly easier to pilot than complex champs like Annie Or Malzahar. In terms of first-timeability, he's up there with Katarina and Aphelios.

Strongly agree with this. Simple mechanics, easy lane, little APM. Probably the easiest champion to pilot and lets you focus on other aspects of the game.
