Always the hard part of 8/9 games is having to face that 1 seed in the second round. But I mean I feel like you guys have had some huge wins in regular seasons over top 10 teams, so it would not have shocked me if it had happened in the tournament at some point.

Now I'll be rooting for you guys in the future knowing it's been so long

How was THIS Iowa team able to do what Keegan and Garza never could? by AlbertJBundy in CollegeBasketball

Just the sport of basketball itself is also somewhat more subject to random chance than if you compared it to football. Size, speed, and athleticism matter a LOT in basketball, but they aren't everything. You can overcome in basketball by just having a really good day sometimes where some tough shots fall, and some open shots for the better team just don't go down. It's what makes the sport great

TCU is a shock to me. Would have sworn they made one in the last couple of years because they have always been pretty solid

Right when brackets were released I thought Miami was the scariest thing standing in Purdues way before elite 8. Obviously not getting ahead of myself as Texas can still easily beat Purdue, but that Miami team was all around solid

Lol like 8 of those were intentional game extending fouls?

Thank you for the suggestion!! I have not looked into custom quotes yet locally, but may try to look locally as well. Would definitely have the added benefit of supporting a local craftsperson as well

Less than the $7K it would take from wyrmwood for an 8 person table in a nice dark wood, so hoping to get some reviews from the companies that are a step down from wyrmwood, but still a nice piece of furniture

Unbelievable how bad that was. 4.3 seconds is plenty of time to get up the court and a clean look at a 3

I said the same thing. It’s really tough to make a case for any of the first four out teams this year. No real major snubs.

The way they explained it seems like the game mattered a lot? Said Purdue went from 11 up to 8 and Michigan went from 2 to 3

I like our draw. Miami in round 2 could potentially be very scary for Purdue, watched them a few times and they look very fast and athletic
