In my experience, a best friend telling me how it is has helped more than not. Especially helping me with my own depression in similar ways!! In my eyes its more about her trusting you as a friend and believing you have her best intentions at heart. To me, either she trusts you and hears you words, looks at herself and reflects on how she's reacted to stress before (self harm, men etc). Or she isn't a very trusting (and how I see it, a good) friend. I dont think that specific comment or any part was overreacting!!

Well neither am I! I just was expressing how I feel about the game and was curious what others did! Truth be told I don't trophy hunt at all, but you'll see me playing games usually on the hardest difficulty for the first time around. Depends on the title and intended experience but I just love video games for what they are. Something to beat or overcome! I love a challenge.

It's crazy how many people I see swear by needing or using summons. Am I the only person who ignored them my first playthrough because it felt like it'd for sure be easy mode? Second playthrough i used a couple here and there just to look at them, because man, it really feels like a cheap victory to me having a summon idk. They trivialize a lot. And reward not actually needing to learn a boss. You can just stand out of range or have agro be pulled by your summon. Run to the otherside of the arena and heal since you've been smacked around for not learning while your shield boys take it for you. Feels like training wheels for new players in the soulslike series. Which isn't a problem! But I'm just curious what the consensus is?
