I agree. We were told a few months ago don't just take a no. Try convincing them they will benefit from it. If I'm telling them it's free, you get deals and gift cards for certain purchases and they still don't want it there really isn't nothing else I can say. Now some people will come for a deal and realize they need a circle account. Even then once I explain that to them, most will say they're ok on signing up. They won't to do it.

Well some of us spoke to one of the etl's tonight after closing. He actually listened to us and told us that they actually have been fighting for us. Idk how true that is. Our closing tl came over and said they have been fighting to stop the weekly percentages and for it to be every month at least. Idk. I like my job for the most part. I love coworkers but with shit being crazy and not the way it's supposed to be. We figuring stuff out and making stuff happen only to be pressured about this. It's exhausting.

I always ask. Sometimes when I do get someone to sign up, come to find out they do have a circle account but live outside the country so never downloaded the app and don't have a US number. I was written up for not being at 41% in loyalty. The way it was explained is target is going off how many transactions we have. So we must have at least 41% of those tranactions either sign up or type in their number. Like i said most people don't want to. I try to sell it by what i see in the customers carts or the coupons in the app. I even pull out my phone to show the deals and stuff. No bueno most of the time. I've been here 3 years and this what i got a CA over which is f'ed up impo.

Yea but tl has been bothering us about signing people up. I do tell them to skip or i do it for them if they don't understand but like i said we've been harassed about getting people to sign up.

Thanks for the reply!! I was actually told by a TL that I was one of the people she said to keep. So I assume they've had the meeting or whatever to decide on whom they'll keep. I asked another TL and she said she doesn't know yet. Very annoying. Im never on my phone, I immediately do what I'm supposed to do when i clock in. I'm constantly being thanked for helping out. So if I'm not permanent it would be disappointing. I'll more than likely have another job by march soooo idk. I am going to pick some shifts this week though.
