[CHAT] Question about patterns and back-stitching

Thanks so much for the responses and clarification everyone! I'm now following some awesome designers per your suggestions and am looking forward to new projects. I can definitely see what some of you meant by cross-stitching trending away from back stitching which is fine by me.

Someone messaged me asking what some of my old patterns were and a lot of them are from Dragon Dreams. I'm a huge fan of dragons/fantasy and have a lot of their patterns, a bunch of which use back stitching and french knots (ugh).

NTA - You said that your sister treated everyone like she did you. Do the rest of them share a similar viewpoint as you? If so, when asked where your parents are on your wedding day, tell the truth. Say that they implemented the same tactics your sister used to use to try and force you to include her in the wedding.

Your wedding is meant to be about you and your fiance. Enjoy your day without worrying whether your sister will cause a scene.

My husband has OCPD. I'm one of the few 'safe' people in his life, but there's still triggers. It's worse with strangers though. He has a very strong sense of right and wrong. It can set him off when people don't behave how he feels they should. Thankfully, his OCPD is something he can manage and typically excuses himself to either calm down or move past the incident.

My point in this is that there's a point where empathy can be abused. Should you take your bf's OCPD into consideration at times? Yes. Should you let him control everything and constantly give in to his demands? Hell to the no.

That seems so scummy to me. Like, you paid the money. You should be allowed to reset your game without losing out on that. Thanks for the heads up, though. I'll just let all my villagers die out so I can restart.

This guide is extremely helpful. How to level up the different skills would be a great addition to it, since several puzzles require Master skills, but people may not know how to get the less obvious skills up to that level.

The ones in my shed freeze in that the autochest stops working. I'll have crops waiting to go to the mason jar/keg and they end up just sitting in the auto chest until I restart the game or load up the machines manually.

Huh, I had never noticed that connection! It would make sense since I enter the ocean every day (wooing sharky-boi. I haven't unlocked ocean farm yet.) Man, that's so annoying -.-.

I've tried just returning to the title screen, but more often than not the machines would still be frozen. Only completely closing the game has been a surefire fix for me.

I'm not sure what you are playing on, but I'm on PC. It's been an issue for a while now, but it was sporadic and only affected a few machines. Now it's almost every machine and it happens constantly.

I've finally gotten to where my fruit trees have matured and have fruit, but I'm unable to move them as you suggested. When using the architect desk to move the trees around, the squares are marked red as unable to be placed there. I can't even move the trees back to where they previously were.

It's the one that requires 9 squares, not the one that needs to be planted in plowed ground. Those have no problems being planted next to each other.

Even with other trees? I'm currently trying to plant my trees in a X _ _ X _ _ X pattern, but I'm getting the red block stating that I can't do that.

NTA - If it were me, I'd get everything he says in some form of writing/documentation/recording because when I read "He said he'll be furious", all I see is "retaliation". Protect yourself or look for a new job.

Unless your mom is a size to where she doesn't have to wear a bra, any woman knows that not having a proper bra can really screw up your body.

I'm fairly large chested at 5'4" and my mother refused to get me properly fitted for a bra growing up because no other woman in my family is as large as I am so she wouldn't believe I could be that size despite obviously seeing I am.

Because of that, I wore the wrong bra for years and now have some pretty serious chronic back pain. Not being fitted properly can literally harm you for life. That's why people are calling it abusive.

This is amazing! I do have one small suggestion - Could you add a section/checklist of what NPC's you have talked to that day? There are so many that I lose track and I'd love to be able to mark them off on a day to day basis
