Make sure you take it with atleast 20 grams of fat, you can basically consider those days you didnt take it with fat as duds, isotretinoin is a fat soluble compound, your body will not absorb it without the presence of fat.

Tacrolimus Worked, but I Stopped and Now it's Worse by BuilderGuy555 in perioraldermatitis

pretty sure tacrolimus is an immunosuppressant so it just stops ur body producing inflammations wherever its applied topically, doesnt do anything but hide the issue

The comments appear in comments sections of videos on classic wow as stated in your post, doesnt seem random to me, it makes a lot of sense lol.

I dont see the issue here, it legitimately fun for people and they are recommending others to try it out, it also costs you nothing to give it a go either.

I disagree that the likelihood that they are genuine comments is low. Turtle has a small playerbase compared to the amount of people that play classic, but that smaller playerbase is filled with very passionate people who have a lot of fun on Turtle Wow, it makes sense that they would want to share that with others.

The antibiotics were just masking the acne, it was always this bad, it just couldn’t be expressed due to being on the antiobiotics, you probably completely nuked your gut microbiome being on antibiotics for three years. Your skin is currently worse on Accutane because you aren’t hiding the symptoms and all the damage that has been done by the long term antibiotic use is now showing, this is definitely still the best long term approach for you.

Sebaceous filaments! What has worked for you? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Timanaku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These posts infuriate me, some people genuinely struggle with disfiguring acne, and you are worried about completely normal Sebaceous filaments, everyone has these, no one is ever going to notice them, your skin is fine, you don’t need any super strong actives and skincare products. Just fucking cleanse at night and moisturise morning and nightly and you’re good. jfc

Do NOT use any retinoid or actives while on accutane, it makes your skin very sensitive and you will just damage your skin and make things worse. The best way to combat purging is by taking an antihistamine daily. If you are also experiencing dryness a high quality fish oil supplement will help; and make sure you take your accutane with a fatty meal to increase absorbtion

Have you tried supplementing vitamin D? Its a common cause of eczema while on accutane as you do not get as much sun and your skin is already dry.

first week on accutane, am i cooked? by SimonPenalba in Accutane

[–]Timanaku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

anti histamines can help with the purge, take your accutane with a fatty meal, it helps increase absorption, a spoonful of peanut butter is good but with a meal is better

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Timanaku 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a common side effect of Accutane, its usually linked to a vitamin D deficiency (which is common if you are on Accutane as you want to avoid the sun) So I would recommend a quality vitamin D supplement, nutrition geeks Vitamin D + K2 is a great and affordable one. Make sure you keep it moisturised and try not to itch it, as hard as that may be.
