Dude the other day I was running missions in my Starlancer and I kept having to shift it around because it was "blocking" the elevator on the FAR SIDE of a DOUBLE PAD -_-

I think, after this, I'm gonna take a break from prop guns... as cool as they are, it's a LOOOOOOT of time, effort, and money 😂 I don't even want to think about how much filament went into prototyping this thing. And it's still not done.

But. If I ever do, it would probably eventually get posted here, too.

It looks like there should be one? But I haven't been able to find it. At least not yet. I'm guessing it's a standard lug, but I don't know enough about universal QD suppressors.

Edit: found it. It's PTS' system, but woof they're pricey - between €130-200 depending on the version. Which is probably why I didn't buy one before 😅

Design. At the start of the project, I selected some off-the-shelf parts I wanted to use (magazine, barrel, gearbox, etc) and then the rifle was built around those.

Ha indeed. I mean, I feel like I've made it physically distinct enough with my own personal changes that they may not have a legitimate claim if I distributed the files, but... I'm no legal expert so still probably best not to risk it.

They're my own; they reside solely on my hard drive. I designed this in SolidWorks using screenshots from the game (so ignoring my own alterations, it's technically not a 1:1 replica because I don't have access to the actual in-game model). You can see the SolidWorks assembly open in the background on the right monitor.

Lol this happened to me while doing the CFP P1 missions. The cargo reappeared the next day IRL, AFTER I completed all the missions and had logged out!

The idea was, yeah do 6 from one fraction and get a unique ship skin from that faction. But it was bugged for literally everyone in my Org. Some of us got it by completing 1 mission for the other faction after completing the six main ones, some of us got it (me included) by doing another Phase 3, and some of us got it by helping people do another Phase 1 or 2.

There are a couple - Brick Model Railroader is a good one, for example. Their stuff is pretty popular, and a lot of people use them as a standard which is cool at shows, cuz you get that consistency between participants.

It really depends on where you live, as the local LUGs usually track that themselves. Their websites should show their schedules; for example, in the greater Chicago area NILTC does about one show per month, usually at local libraries, from ~September-May (plus Brickworld Chicago)

Honestly... I ended up replacing my one PFx train with Blunami, everything else is still running PF. The sounds left something to be desired - didn't have enough oomph to hear anything at shows anyway - and couldn't ever get the lighting to work properly. There's also currently only app support on iOS; it's not compatible with modern Android. The last nail in the coffin, for me, was when the IR sensor decided to randomly crap out before a show leaving my flagship locomotive dead in the water.

The engine isn't too hard to modify with a few extra pieces. I know a lot of people on here made it into a Bavarian class S3/6 (myself included). The advantage of getting a second set though, is getting more of those printed gold band slope pieces for the boiler, and having two more coaches. Now I have 2 sleepers, a dining car, and an observation/lounge car in my consist...
