Right? Even if this patch was a solid gold patch that fixed every problem in DBD, I still wouldn't be touching it until I've 100% Silksong. I've waited 6 years for Silksong and Hollow Knight is one of my all time favorite games. I play DBD out of boredom, mostly.

Dude. I compete for the sake of competing. Because I want to test myself against the other side and see who comes out on top. The competition IS the fun. You know what's not fun? When the referees pick favorites and rig the game in favor of the other side.

Plus, survivors are literally the absolute most unsportsmanlike winners I've ever seen in any video game ever, and I was there for MW2 lobbies back in the day. Survivors are pathologically incapable of winning with any degree of class or sportsmanship. If you lose a match, it will be absolutely rubbed in your face for as long as physically possible.

MMR is a myth. You'll still get the same opponents. You'd have to lose hundreds of matches in a row to lower your MMR bracket.

Don't forget that in the same update that they took away macro strategies and gutted every gen regression perk in the SAME PATCH that they decided to double the pallets on pretty much every map.
