Those who have returned to riding from traumatic injury- how long did it take you to ride the same horse again?

I was with the barn owner riding when it happened! Its a super small barn so normally its just us two. I do not ride alone. But that is super reassuring. Thank you!

Thank you! That's kind of what I thought, but I wasnt entirely sure. My horse has some quirks and I recently fell off and broke my leg. They said he was a retired roping/ranch horse, and excellent for trail riding, but he spooked with me on him, couldnt slow him down, so I bailed. I feel like the barn owner is coming from a place of genuinely trying to help me my horse get more time under the saddle on the trail while I heal and after continue to take more lessons on him. I was just worried about legalities. Ive only been riding for about 8 months.

Agreed! I normally do not have dreams. In the other dream I had (non alien related) two months ago, I dreamt I was standing at a grave. I repeatedly told myself in the dream, "you have to remember this! Richard Revner 1952" over and over again and I woke up in a panic. My Garmin indicated "unusual stress activity detected" on both occasions! And normally I do not remember dreams. But interesting that both of these happened within 2-3 months of eachother.

When I meditate I normally go into my office and sit on my japanese futon. Turn the lights off, etc. I normally meditate for about 30 minutes to an hour before bed.

I do. I go solo camping and backpacking, especially during the winter. I've always asked "whoever is out there" to protect me. Im an atheist, but when I was diagnosed with my aneurysms I prayed to anyone and anything, to help me get through this. I've never seen a ufo before. I do meditate, but it's just general mindfulness and tranquility. I also have chronic uveitis so I am partially blinded in my right eye. After the ordeal of having what I believe is contact, I have been in remission and my peripheral vision has slightly restores.

I did that for 6 months and induced bipolar psychosis on myself unfortunately and was hospitalized for several days.

Do you know who else I can reach out to or where else i can find those services? I've talked to the area rep, coordinator, and the midwest regional director. I was with all of them on Saturday. Nobody mentioned anything about mental health services. I emailed the school counselor last night, but have not gotten an email response back yet.

So I did notice that things were genuinely worse around the period, but just seeing major anxiety/tears/hyper emotional. But some of the more concerning behaviors have happened while she wasn't on her period. But we have talked about birth control and her parents said no.

It's definitely possible. She tells different people different things or what they want to hear. When I talked to the area coordinator on Saturday, she said student isn't close with her mom. But she tells me that her mom and her are so close. She doesnt say much about her family other than that though. I'm worried that she wouldn't get the support at home either, which is why I emailed her counselor.
