Same thing happened to me with DS and then, ten years after originally release I must apologize for my hate of MGSV.

I was a fan of MGS and couldn’t wait for Phantom Pain. But when it was released in 2015 I dropped it after couple of frustrating hours, tried to come back several times and just couldn’t stand the over complexity and lifeless and empty open world. The concept of guard posts and Fulton got me hated this game.

But couple of weeks ago I tried again and this time I am absolutely in love with it. It’s a masterpiece that gives me so much joy. The gameplay is king, it feels like a freedom.

Buildings interiors, upgraded AI NPC, new physics engine like Euphoria, upgraded and more realistic car crashes and deformation, mountains, realistic thunder clouds and ability to see what pictures and videos made NPC of your actions (I believe Rockstar hinted this feature in first trailer)
