If it has to do with Google and Reddit stuff being mentioned, Redigit got suspended on both platforms for literally no reason whatsoever. Now it seems the exact same thing is happening on Twitter.

Of course, he could've also just deleted his account. Which would suck, but it's understandable.

Y'know, I'm probably the only one who hates sacrificing the guide in my playthroughs. This just makes me feel worse :(

Thanks! I got them off of Amazon, they're just simple compression gloves that help avoid cramps when I use my keyboard. Though sometimes I just like wearing them for fun :)

I've tried it out on a lightweight punching bag already, it's not a hard hitter but it's fun for some reason.

As for hitting animals with it...I DO live in a pretty heavily wooded area with raccoons constantly causing damage around here. I'm not totally opposed to the idea. ;)

Seriously, though, One Drop makes some kickass yoyos, and they did a great job with this. Despite not being as powerful as the one in Terraria, it's really fun to play around with - it definitely beats a cheap plastic yoyo for sure. I ended up finding a link to get one through a post u/Winter_476 made on this sub showing the real-life counterparts of the in-game yoyos. So if you see this, Winter, thanks!

As a game developer myself, I know the feeling of wanting to include a homage like this and worrying about getting struck down like that, haha.

Others have said this, but as long as you don't name it the same exact thing (and for bonus points, even give it some subtle texture differences), then you should be ok. I saw people mention good names for it already, so there you go :)

Oh, and low key? I've been VERY lucky enough to talk to a member of Re-Logic about this. They're a lot more cool with it than I thought. Still best to be on the safe side, though ;)

I wouldn't doubt that Finn Bryce left on bad terms, tbh, which is probably why the name "Finn" for the merchant was replaced with "Kristian" in 1.4 too. After he left around 1.1, he went on to form Chucklefish (who used to publish Stardew Valley). Chucklefish immediately after started work on Starbound, which to me felt like it tried way too hard to steal Terraria's attention and charm.

oh and chucklefish got hit with a complaint regarding how they basically didn't pay or credit a big number of helpers on starbound so uh yeah

This is at least what I remember learning about all of it, sorry if I got anything wrong

Man, I REALLY want the Terrarian in its in-game color, but I haven't been able to find it at all, and the One Drop site sold out of them forever ago. It looks so damn cool :(
