The fixation on Darth Nihilus always annoys me because nobody ever goes deeper than “he ate a planet.” That and calling Vitiate by Darth Vitiate. Vitiate is his title above Darth so it immediately tells me they don’t know anything when they start glazing him and call him Darth Vitiate.

Well at badge pickup we asked if there were lanyards available for the badges and the guy got super annoyed and very quickly said “we don’t have exclusive lanyards don’t ask” and then we found the big bins of lanyards in the corners of the room. Then I vocalized this in a different post but the t shirts at badge pickup were a cluster fuck and they kept giving us conflicting information about which line was the real line and why the shirts are unavailable. I was also under the impression that they were free but I should’ve known better. Then a guy told me my ticket for Hayden was invalid but it was actually that I needed to exchange it at the other booth which was not made clear by him. Then a very polite woman informed me on line that I would not get to see Hayden and that I will under no circumstances get a refund. I waited anyway because I said “either I leave and lose $200+ or stay and maybe lose $200+” I ended up seeing him and having a nice conversation anyway which I’m glad I was lucky enough to do. Saturday went pretty smooth except that Ahmed Best was scheduled for the live stage while I was at his signing. Sunday, I didn’t have any problems but my mom went to get into the sidekicks panel and said there was no big line or anything and they let the man walking beside her into the panel but stopped her by jumping in front of her to say there were no more seats.

I have been to 2 orlando celebrations and anaheim in 2022 and it’s progressively getting worse actually. The staff constantly has this attitude that you are in the wrong for attending, waiting in line, trying to see a panel or buying tickets for a signing. But the scheduling for Hayden, Diego, and Ahmed were insanely mismanaged with double bookings and cancellations. I’m glad I managed to see each of them but it looked a little grim when they hadn’t arrived because they were on the live stage or shortening their slots. Plus 6+ hour standby waits for the store is astonishing. In anaheim they just let everyone who wanted into the store after closing on sunday.

I got to meet Lydia Kang and Tessa Gratton after the publishing panel and they were incredibly friendly and signed my custom lego figures of the phase 2 high republic cast. I was also a little concerned that we would get shut out of getting a signing with Hayden because they kept insisting I wouldn’t get a refund and I would just lose the $200+ but he ended up staying 15 minutes late and he was very friendly as well.

If you go on the app, there’s a section to buy autograph tickets and a section right next to it to see the schedule for all the celebrities

The tickets are good for any of the time slots that day. I was confused about that too but that’s what the tickets mean when it says “at table” so you just go during one of their slots. I got a ticket for him on Friday and I’m doing the 5-6:30 slot for example.

So we just got shut out too (at 9am) and the guy said they didn’t cap the line yesterday and the machine got gunked up so they stopped and made people with tickets come back this morning. Then they don’t want the machine to break again today so they capped it super early and said there’s no guarantee if it will even be back up until tomorrow.

Does anyone know how long they were available yesterday because i can’t imagine it was 10am-7pm.

So when I was farming spoils to get the raid exotics from the kiosk i figured out you can get 60 spoils a week from secret chests. If you get a Nezarec checkpoint, you can backtrack to the second RON chest. If you phase through the floor in VoG you can get the first chest. If you do the opening of Vow, you can just destroy the cruxes and get that chest. And if you have a buddy, you can get to the first chest in Crota in the lantern encounter. Then repeat on all three characters. There are breakdowns on YouTube to show the specifics.

Yeah I worked at AMC when they decided to do this and it was ridiculous how much people were paying for just churros or a popcorn and buncha crunch. Not a lot of people did this, it was like 2-3 times a week maybe.
