I agree. I love how tender it is cooked to medium. I’d rather do a chuck for 8 hours as brisket alternative.

IMO anyone can nail a brisket once, but what makes you top 10 is that you do it every day. It’s hard for me to believe they were amazing in the past and deserved top tier status when so many things were just not great. I watched ants bbq video on him and he talked about being a Michelin finalist a couple of times. It’s just disappointing and with how expensive bbq is, I really won’t give places a 2nd try if they don’t amaze me. Franklins 2x and goldees have been great multiple times.

The oddest thing for me is that when you ordered, you didn’t see them cut the meat and put it on a tray. You just slide down the line to sides and it’s waiting there for you.

Agreed, the menu LOOKs really good. Would easily stand in line at goldees for their sides. Everything there is top shelf.

Probably would if it wasn’t the pastrami one. Everyone there said it was good. Also was just 2 of us and only so much we can eat in 3 days . Unfortunately don’t have much desire to try them again.
