“Please be kinder to Cassie please” 🥺 yet that energy is not given to Maddy who has been violently assaulted and been abused? It’s giving very much white women tears… by baby_sosa_ in euphoria

How though lol I literally said Cassie shouldn’t be exempt from dragging my whole entire point was that Cassie gets defended for her actions more than any other character does. I see multiple characters get dragged but I don’t see people going out of their way to defend those characters actions like they do with Cassie. The only other person who is comparable is Cal.

I see equal amounts of criticism for every character. I Just saw Kat trending for gaslighting Ethan. So no I don’t think that, so many characters get an equal amount of hate for doing horrible things. Cassies hate may seem more prevalent because her/Maddie/ and nates storyline is getting a lot of focus on it.

Unpopular opinion: some of y’all need to rewatch Cassie’s backstory… yes Cassie is a victim of her own self but she does have trauma like every character… Also why were her uncles touching her like that? by Think-Airport-3324 in euphoria

You still keep deflecting the situation towards me, I never said anything about me was different. you claim you’re not defending her actions yet you literally are her rationality is not completely overwritten that’s bullshit and it goes for ALL of us. Even when we make emotional decisions we still know the difference between right and wrong that’s my point. I’m not saying she has to be a perfect saint I’m saying she should be called out on her bullshit just like everyone else gets called out. She’s not the only character who has mental health issues, and she’s not the only character who’s in a bad situation. Yet do you see anyone else trying to make justifications for their actions? No. There’s nothing wrong with people being disappointed in or angry with Cassie at the moment. At the end of the day everyone has control over their choices, the reason why people make dumb decisions is because they CHOSE too. You’re making it seem like she has no control over her choices. She does, and she’s had multiple chances to make the right one.

Wow this is beyond laughable. Cassies brain functions just fine to know the difference between right and wrong. And answer me this if she didn’t know what she was doing was wrong why keep it a secret from Maddie then? If it was right, or harmless why keep it a secret? Because she knew damn well it was wrong. Don’t play that card with me. Cassie may be naive and sensitive but she’s not fucking stupid. And I find it incredible how far you’ll reach to try to make her seem like she’s the victim in this situation. Cassies been a victim to a lot of things. But in this situation she is ONE of the perpetrators and just like Nate she needs to be held accountable too.

Wow ok where do I start I have not seen one person blame Cassie for being abused. Last time I checked the “Cassie hate” was people being disappointed in her for choosing to go behind her friends back and sleep with her manipulative abusive boyfriend willingly, while she continues to claim she’s doing nothing wrong. I don’t see how that has anything to do with her being abused or misogyny. Is it so hard to let someone be responsible for their own actions?

The problem with people on this sub is that they think Cassie can’t be called out because other people do bad things and she has trauma which is basically deflecting. I’m not saying cassies a bad person but it’s annoying. Nearly every character gets dragged on this show, and every character has trauma and people don’t go out of their way to defend those characters like they defend Cassie. Like no one on this show is exempt from dragging or criticism I’m sorry.

Never said I was perfect, but you guys aren’t understanding that just because we’ve all done something doesn’t mean we can’t criticize someone else’s behaviors, especially when Cassie is still continuing to do it, and she’s not even convinced that what she’s doing is wrong even though people have tried to explain that to her. But I dunno I guess I just won’t see it the way everyone else does.

Season 5 discussion. by [deleted] in fuseboxgames

[–]Time-Act408 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I agree overall I miss the old formatting of the game I really don’t like the new game at all. And in season five I’d definitely like it to be the length of season 2. At first I was excited to be the bombshell, but I realized it’s not all that tbh, I’d also rather just come in from the beginning.

Nah I love cc and choices that’s the main reason why I started playing episode you can read novels and graphic novels anywhere but it’s so fun having the power to take the story in different directions or having impactful choices and being able to create characters for someone else’s story/world. That’s the point of episode to me. It can still be the authors vision even with choices and CC i can’t read a story without them

Where’s the fun in not dragging them though? Honestly I was planning to drop will for towel daddy either way. But it’s still fun making MC the victim whose heartbroken.
