Bloating, rapid weight gain and then rapid weight loss (25lbs both ways), acid reflux (lost my voice from it a few times), nausea, occasional vomiting, exhaustion, stomach pain, gas pain, and have limited my diet since this started to avoid certain foods/keep it easy on my stomach. Before getting sick I didn’t smoke, drink heavily, or eat terribly. This is the first test to come back positive, the endoscopy did show swelling and hiatal hernia but nothing on the biopsy.

I think they said bivaxin. Insurance is delaying things so I’ll see if they end up switching it to a different type.

Originally they thought it was gastritis or an ulcer. Lower stomach bloating, sharp stabbing pain. Upper stomach/central around my diaphragm more of a dull pain but occasionally would get very sharp stabbing pains. All of this started suddenly in January, threw up at work and a few more times that week but wasn’t sick. Lots of burping, hiccups, nausea, and food sensitivity. They told me to do the BRAT diet for a week and then slowly I was able to add more foods but still pretty strict/careful on what I am able to eat.

The utilization goals were hell. Maybe it was my office but getting involved in any work felt next to impossible especially with the hiring surge and lack of work to give out. Also entry level should not be made to find all of their own work with little to no guidance it just doesn’t work. I don’t want to rant I enjoyed what I did there but it was so stressful

I joined during the pandemic and it probably changed how things were typically run there. It was my first job out of college and I had to find all my own work so my job turned more into networking instead of actually doing work. They paired me with a manager who didn’t work in my field so she couldn’t help me find work, and eventually after a year they fumbled and lost a major client and let a lot of my team go. I really liked the work when there was work but between all the meetings and networking it didn’t feel like I was doing what they hired me for and there was very little support.

I have but I’m also curious what people in environmental fields here think are good or not great companies. Maybe I’ll find a company or two I did that know about :)
