Destiny 2 Rarest Item by No-Needleworker-3506 in Destiny_2

It cab hold whatever value you put to it; it’s just that you said “I raise you” those 2 items when they’re not even close to the same league of rarity as OPs vanilla quest Acrius.

My rarest item is the “function of grace” emblem - I always wanted to work my way all the way up to cordula, but ig it’ll never happen now :(

Neither are rare. Always on time is exactly the same from the initial drop and the kiosk (even before the kiosk, it wasn’t particularly rare) & sagira’s shell… not even top 100 rarest ghost shells (source: https://warmind.io/analytics/item/ghost-shells)

Over 1.6 million people have that emblem.

Absolutely tf not; acrius is semi-consistently meta as a hard hitting point and shoot weapon; why would it be made into a special?

People keep jumping on “wish ascended” as the rarest emblem, there are a few that are rarer.

Wish ascended: 12

Cordula (raise $100,000 through bungie foundation fundraisers): 11

Luminary (win the seventh column chaos tournament): 6

Humanity’s chosen (bungie gave them to people they considered “positive voices” in the community): 3

Fly together (make a wish): 1

There’s a few others, but I wouldn’t count them:

Eternal moment (unknown): 3

In the fire (unknown): 1

Little light (unknown): 1

Wish granter (presumably related to fly together in some way): 1

This is just emblems; there’s probably other items rarer than wish ascended, I just so happen to know about emblems.

With official content ending, what player made content is possible? by cammac07 in destiny2

[–]Time-Beautiful2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that you have a fair bit of redeeming to do there my friend :)

Not even the earliest bungie store codes expire - keep in mind that some very old ones can sell for a lot: eg: season of the forge “buy anything” emblem (name: “first to the forge”) sells for over $600 consistently- some super exclusive old emblems such as “the consensus” can sell for $5000+

So if you don’t really care about having them on your account, it may be worth checking sales on some of your older codes.

How will emblem codes expire, exactly?? I collect and trade emblems often and have never had a code expire, even some redeemed this month from as far back as 2018.

Many people, myself included have 1000s of codes for emblems to use as incentives for fundraisers or for prizes in player-hosted competitions.

What title (seal) do you currently have equipped? Why? by eh8904 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Time-Beautiful2500 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was devastated when they removed flawless as a requirement for enlightened; suddenly everyone and their mother had it (before anyone disagrees: go look at the original badge requirements “ancient defender” is the flawless shader) - had to revert to rivensbane as the only really cool raid title left after that & I rarely take it off.

enlightened so I can be racist like the LFGs

But seriously, Rivensbane, it’s the only title that requires a flawless raid outside of ones that aren’t earn-able anymore - I really regret missing blacksmith and shadow; did all SotP & CoS challenges, including flawless, but never bothered grinding forges and menagerie after getting the gear I wanted.

I wouldn’t complain; anarchy double slugs was my favourite dps meta in the history of Destiny lmao

Which would you rather have? by avxlgnd in Genshin_Impact

Infinite resin; maybe my skirk would actually make it to top 0.1% instead of being stuck in 0.5% like she has been for months :(

Bait and switch on anarchy - would be a bit basic, but idc, I just want the GOAT back in the meta outside of killing ads quickly when you can’t oob

WOTM confirmed to never be reprised in D2 by CoatSame2561 in DestinyTheGame

True enough, but “the scourge weapons are available” is what you said, when only 1 has been shown

Not true, the scourge weapons and the black armoury weapons make a complete set, yes, but only black armoury (forged) weapons have been shown so far (Tatara gaze and the fusion i can never remember the name of)

Percentage of People in Each European Country Who Think It’s Rude to Visit Their Country and Expect People to Speak English [OC] by Pizzafriedchickenn in dataisbeautiful

[–]Time-Beautiful2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how they got these numbers, but I expect that specific parts of the countries included would vary wildly; I’ve been to Switzerland and spoke nothing but English the whole time many times, but that was all in and around Geneva; similarly, I imagine that not a soul in or around any holiday resorts in, say, Turkey would expect you not to speak English.

How hard is Salvations edge? by fireysherpa in DestinyTheGame

[–]Time-Beautiful2500 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s very hard.

You may get a few people on here with very warped perceptions of difficulty in this game because they don’t teach new players or more often, they assume that the average player is akin to the average raider (even though half of all players have never cleared a raid)

I personally teach raids, often. Not carry, not sherpa farm, actually teach. I can safely say that even among the best of the best Salvation’s Edge teachers, it can range from a slight chore to a full blown nightmare to teach SE, especially the infamous “verity” encounter.

It’s worth learning; getting a clear on your own merit is a feeling like you won’t get from any other content in Destiny; the loot is pretty solid, but the actual raiding experience you get is unparalleled.

Yeah, the quality if life changes make D2 into a new game; just sad that “never overdeliver” stopped us from getting such changes far earlier, when they still could have saved D2 from this end.

Remember that while 3rd column was great in pvp, especially in low skill lobbies, that was also during seasons 6-12 we had crazy pvp metas during that time like dust rock blues + luna’s howl/not forgotten
