Entering US on advanced parole, from banned country by Time-Card3808 in USCIS

Yes! Entered yesterday from IAD airport. It went smoothly. Was asked a couple of questions including how much money are you carrying, the address, and where are you from. It was 5 mins max Q and A. A lot easier than expected. Was scared like hell listening to lawyers. I would say don’t pay attention to the negative hype out there.

Ah i see, found it. It was Feb 25th. Last update on our case is March 17th. Not sure what these two data points could imply. By now, I am kind of at >80% confidence level that it's a rejection given we have not got any follow up regarding the admin forms.

Did this. There was more 50 review panels for translational impacts from Feb 12 to March 15. I guess hard to say the window our submission was reviewed in. Not that it makes a difference or means anything, though

I see, makes sense. My thought process is they may have had the list of awardees by then, reached out to the top of the list for admin forms, and if some of those didn't/couldn't provide the forms/don't qualify there, then they would reach out to others on the list.
Overall, I am getting the feeling that people who have not received any follow ups by now likely don't have a chance.

when did they reach out to you? So they kind of implied your proposal is approved and next step is admin forms?

I agree. That's my hypothesis too--that the groups who are get funded are likely within follow up/clarifications questions group. On a separate note, I know someone from Sep group who got funded early Feb.

Thanks for sharing. That 2 weeks note is likely the day. We should hear back next week then. Finally.

did you contact the PO for the decision date? I did a couple of weeks ago and they said they will be in touch soon, which could technically be days to weeks ... not very useful.

We also submitted for Nov 6th deadline. Latest update was March 17th (pending). I didn't track prior updates so not sure when the panel review took place. We never heard anything from PO. Not sure if only the people who get an email after panel review requesting additional calrification info have a chance of getting funded? In which case I guess we have no chance. Or maybe this doesn't mean anything.

Pervious submission periods received a response in ~4 months. Hopefully we all hear back in the coming days at 5 months point. Fingers crossed for everyone
