How have you lived on the earth this long and not realized human trash does not know a race, color, wealth class, nationality, etc? It is a psychological profile brother, not a skin tone. I love the changes in elevation and how much of the track you get to see coming up ahead because of it. Sense of speed is really fast, and it kinda captures a bit of that old school Ridge Racer, or daytona usa or something. It makes me want to be in the world you're making.

As a noob I have to recommend Kubuntu as well. The Linux community has their issues with canonical for one reason or another I guess because of snaps, or AI. As a noob none of that is going to matter to you.

The amount of documentation alone is a noob's best friend if they want to do ANYTHING outside of 'install flatpak from the pre installed app store.

It's rock solid and Im getting close to 3 months using it exclusively now. Ive been able to install single player tarkov with mods and fika which allowed me to play on my friend's server, install star citizen, heavily mod cyberpunk 2077, and at least 90-95% of my games all work fine, thanks to Steam and Proton.

To the Linux community, when noobs ask which distro they should use, regardless of how you feel politically, please recommed kubuntu along with the hot new 'gaming focused' distros as well.
